strange experience help please

i have been trying to astral project for a while now and earlier i was meditating while listening to the rain and after a while i noticed that instead of just seeing the inside of my eyelids i saw a humanish figure that looked sort of like a white shadow walking towards me and when it came to be very close it outstretched a hand to me and as i tried to take it i felt strange whooping sensation in my stomach and felt myself being pulled away from my body and it felt really good but because this had never happened before i got quite scared and also exited but then i started to panic and opened up my eyes. i tried to get it to come back but it wouldnt.. could someone please tell me is this normal????
