On the reply box (not the 'quick reply') that is in the top of the page, you get different thingies on the top, and on the fourth option there are smilies.
There's also smilies on the right side, but for some reason my browser only 'sees' two.

Same with me, i can't set a custom avatar.I can only set a pre-defined avatar.
You can upload avatars now. I've checked and double checked.
I fixed the smileys, which means I had to manually upload them all again and set the text replacement options manually, as well.
Here's the thread I started regarding avatars: http://www.astraldynamics.com.au/sho...?12203-Avatars
Here's the thread I started regarding the edit features and smileys: http://www.astraldynamics.com.au/sho...WYSIWYG-Editor
Here's the thread I started asking people to please report in that thread if they find glitches and problems: http://www.astraldynamics.com.au/sho...-we-can-fix-it!
Robert is away from home travelling, and some of the mods/admins don't have full abilities at this point for reasons we cannot ascertain, and we have a sick admin with a sick family member, so please be patient.
Rome wasn't burnt in a day, you know.
could somebody please tip me off as to how you arrange your pix in an album...i can choose the cover the rest only appear in the order that they are uploaded in?
I haven't explored the albums at all and I'm afraid I haven't got time to do that right now, but a lot of other things in this system allow you to list by number. The smileys, for example. Each one has a field where you can put in a number for order of appearance. Might the photo albums have something like that?
Otherwise, in this case, Google is your friend. I've been Googling like crazy while learning the back end system. Pretty much any question I've had has been posted by other people somewhere on the web, and answered, too. :)
the VBulletin design is more smoother and def. rates high on visually aesthetic factor.
Congrats! About time you switched to a better forum such as vBulletin. :p Hope you like it. I used to tinker with vBulletin a LOT for fun. Hope you figure stuff out.
