How can I raise my consciousness vibration?

So, I'm new to the forums first of all, and I was just reading through the part of the book that discusses The Spirit Level, the plane to which Robert Bruce says he found to be the place that souls go to after they've passed away. I am really interested in that place, and I know that he said that even he has been there precious few times, but I would like to try and get there. I am at a loss on how to raise my vibration frequency/ level of consciousness. Do any of you have any suggestions regarding this?

Also, seeing as I am looking for as much information I can about this plane, have any of you managed to make it there and/or been able to be in direct contact with family members or friends who have passed away?

Astral creates astral. If you ways astral awareness you will astral travel. Travel to the astral that knows ya. Anything of your particular spiritual interest (great pyramid of egypt, to a diamond planet, to nirvana) might work.
