    Re: Volgerle's Lucidiary

"Platolmec" Head Monument In "Busaki (?)" [one translation: "The Original Wisdom is to be found whole in the source (mother temple) of Hindu Music, AUM (C#)"]

I seem to have developed a combination of techniques where I get more often lucid in dreams than to have vibrational / phasing exits out of 'the state'. Well, I don't want to complain as far as I have lucidventures at all despite them being my 2nd choice only.

This one started from dream-state where I was in a small class [dreamer is intensely focused on his own learning as his psyche takes the form of a classroom, concentrated on a small number of students, implying a quality education. The dreamer is focusing intensely on his own development.] of 3-4 [3 and 4 are the numbers that indicate a movement toward balance and achievement of balance, where three represents incompleteness and four represents completeness as there are four seasons, points of a compass, quarters in a whole, canonical gospels, fingers on a single hand, limbs on the human body, functions of consciousness (Active, Passive, Leader, Follower) etc. This is the meaning of the squaring of the circle in Alchemy, wherein Pi, 3.14 (not 3 or 4 but "3-4"), a number strictly associated with a circle, becomes 4, a number denoting a square, denoting wholeness, well-roundedness.] students only. I noticed I had forgotten my stuff [dreamer realizes he has lost his ancient core, his true beginning, his true substance, or stuffing] and asked my neighbour student for a pencil and sth ["something" rendered as "sth" in other words, it's not OMing. See Busaki] to write [right, aright, rite] on. [The dreamer seeks a true ritual] Then I am directed to a desk behind me with some material. [Behind the dreamer, in a place he does not see because he looks only forward, thus in the unconscious, there is material, materia, "stuff," or substance] I take one ["one" what? one-ness] but when sitting down again at my desk I notice I got a screwdriver (or a similar tool) instead of a pen. [the true writing, the true Rite-ing, the true ritual is manifested in the form of a spiral, "drive"-ing along a circumambulatory screw-shaped pathway around a mysterious center, like the stairs in a ziggurat which lead heavenward] (The teacher resembled the "healing angel" woman I did the singing with lately, but I cannot be sure of that.) [Prelude: The song will reveal itself to be singing teacher's lesson]

Then I somehow got out of the room and in the hall I try to fly up asking a guide to lift me [the dreamer's psyche attempts to put the ritual into practice, immediately ascending] (a usual strategy of mine). Only after a few seconds a hand comes. [guidance] I asked for Tom Campbell to be the guide Before, I once subconsiously used him before as a "vessel" to be guided by another helper to the "Human Contact Zone". I saw (like then) a video of him before going to sleep. This might be an influence. He also put out a promise to help people in NPMR as much as he can. So that's why I remembered to 'call him up'. I only see the hand that reaches from the ceiling. I am then being drawn up and it gets dark. [The top of the mountain is gloomy, obscured by the clouds, and only darkness to the conscious mind of the dreamer, a false beginning through "The dark night of the soul," leading ultimately to the Truth that awaits on the other side of the darkness, the true knowledge of the dark Center, as the top of a perfect mountain, viewed from above, is actually the very center of its circular foothills]

Somehow there seems to be no movement. [There is no change, no death, no time to flow, it is an eternal realm] Then it occurs to me to give a direction of where to go and shout the first that comes to my mind: "Back to the Library!". Then there is some movement and I notice I can see again and am in a kind of different lobby of a building. It looks like an kind of office building (maybe of public authorities), resembling the one I was in when I went to the "Nine-O'clock-Heaven", but this is not certain either.

I take a look at the hand that had drawn me til this moment. I notice that I hold a hand only and the arm is already a kind of stump and there is no person (guide). It looks like an arm-prothesis. I throw it away then without giving it more thoughts. [The dreamer becomes dissatisfied with his previous mode of self-exploration, realizing its automacy. The dreamer is defiantly rejecting his programming, the next step of which is to become the programmer.]

After a while of searching for an exit to get outside I succeed [the dreamer has become his own guide, his internal compass, his squaring of the circle, his movement from 3 to 4 is complete] and am in a kind of forecourt [Pun: forecourt = fourcourt = 4-court the dreamer is in the presence of a King, which he will soon meet, as all courts imply their king, as they are 'the king's court'] on a sunny day [True Light shines, as it is written, "But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves of the stall." - Malachi 4:2] in an unknown city. [The Home of True Mystery, which will always be unknown to the masses] There is a monument. [A great symbol] It is a huge colossal head carving. [The head represents the ruler, the King] A bearded man that mostly resembles the Greek philosopher Plato. [Plato represents the four university subjects, the Whole essence of the universe, without which a university becomes simply a college, namely Mathematics, Music, Rhetoric and Philosophy.] It is a little greenish and with some leaves or blots on it. [the color green and green leaves are symbols of life. The dreamer is becoming truly interested in the four highest subjects in western culture] However the wide, bulky, angular and colossal nature of this head reminds me also of the mysterious Olmec stone head carvings. So it's Plato's bearded face but in Olmec-style. It's in the size of a person but of course also very wide and might still be placed on top of a kind of socket-wall (not sure though). Mix these two together and you get the 'picture': [The Olmecs are the first civilization in Mexico, the ancient beginning of a mysterious people, representing the hidden mystery of existence. The Olmecs practiced the mysterious ball-game, which reminds one of the other circular symbols so far encountered, which was a most serious game of life and death, as only the winner survived. The ball game points to the Self, conceptualized as a sphere in the work of Carl Jung, of which the ego was merely a "blot" on its surface, whereas its true nature of the Self is to be found only at its dark core. This is highlighted by the fact that the Olmecs were the first inhabitants of Mexico, which means "heart land" or "central place." The Olmecs were the beginning of "the center," fitting representatives for the Mystery of mysteries. Thus the statue represents the union of conscious knowledge and unconscious mystery]

I wonder where to go and then have the idea to ask the monument where the library is. I am aware of the astral and think that I might 'bring it to life'. But that does not work. ["I" is the ego, the "blot" on the statue, a surface feature of the Self, from which the "I" or ego gets its life, the reversal of which "does not work," as rain does not fall upward.] Then a tall guy passes by and I ask him where the huge 'akashic' library is. [A True Guide appears, as the dreamer has outgrown the nanny-hand]

He looks 'down' at me (he's tall) [Tall = high = one with the tip of the mountain, the Center of the circle, enlightened] with a friendly smile and asks why I would want to go there. He asks me if I 'messed it up' somehow because I wanted to go there. [The akashic record only records what has passed, of which there is no reason to review, if one knows they are going in the right/rite direction. In other words, the Guide is saying, why go back when you're making good progress now?] I do not understand what he means by that. Probably he tells me that there are other libraries around here. I insist that I've been to the 'akashic' library before (not yet aware of my mistake that it necessarily wasn't the 'akashic' library at all). He then looks again at me smiling. His eyes seem very agile, stangely moving from left to right, [What's left is what's 'left behind,' while what's right is what's 'rite', ahead] they also have a strange colour. Something like a brownish-red or so. [Red is the first color in the visible spectrum, the 'beginning' of the visible light spectrum. 'Brownish-red' is also the most accurate translation of the word "Adam," the primordial man, the First, the mysterious beginning, as "Adam," strictly speaking, means "red," though it also means "earth" because the clay appeared to have a reddish hue to our ancestors, so they called the soil, which is earthy or 'brown' to us, "Adam." Edom, whose name is another form of "Adam," was so named because he appeared reddish at birth, thus he had two names, Esau and Edom. The guide looks to the primordial beginning, and the dreamer sees the color of the primordial beginning reflected in his eyes.]

Then I ask him the name of this place. First he kind of whispers it. I understand the word "Busaki" (pronounce boozarkee in English, wordstress on -ar-). [Pun: Stress on the -ar- = stress on the "are" = stress on the "being." What is being offered is the key to relieving stress on the being, of which the western world is in serious need.] But ask again and he repeats it louder. At his third (and loudest) repetition I start to fade out of the scene. ["Busaki" is an amalgam of the words Besakih, and Busuki. Busuki means simply "music" in Finnish, the word "Finnish" also being a pun on the word 'finish,' denoting a completion of the movement, the end is the beginning, to which the 'music' leads. The three repetitions of "Busaki," which increase in loudness each time, indicate the musical technique known as "crescendo," which is an increase in volume over the course of notes or measures, the symbol for which looks like this: "<" Besakih is location of the greatest Hindu temple complex in Bali. Bali is a pun on the word 'Bally,' or 'Spherically,' or 'centrally,' repeating the central theme of the vision. Taken together, the word Busaki logically would mean The central music of Hinduism leads to the center of our sphere, the Mystery of mysteries. All great Hindu music is played in the key of C#, also known as OM/AUM/AMEN. "I" fades out of the scene because the dreamer realizes that he is not his ego, but the Self, and finally achieves Individuation, Self-consciousness, Christ-consciousness, Brahman, and oneness with all that is, transcending the ego, and most likely has this realization while listening to some sacred Hindu religious music, probably performed on a sitar.]

Yes, this was my idea too. The smaller the class the more specialised and 'advanced' it seems to be.

Actually, I thought is is more simple, just showing that I was 'not prepared' for the lesson(s) of this course. (Forgetting instead of not having the school material means, on a positive note, that I already have it back at home and just need to bring it along next time.)

That's a good question. Problem is (well, if it's a problem) I am fascinated with the past. This however, does not apply to this life I am leading now. Just past lives and past humankind / (pre)history. Hinduism might be the offspring of one of the oldest religions on Earth (Sanscrit writings are one of the oldest religious texts in existence today, iirc) and this might be one of the reasons that brought me to this 'astral Bali temple'. Combining my '(pre-)history obsession' with my personal spiritual advancement maybe.

    Re: Volgerle's Lucidiary

As the topic is advancement (dream-state or lucid) here's two relevant dreams from tonight that might fit in again:

Drawing Of A Smiling Buddha In Class

I am in class again. We do a test or exercise that includes drawing. I use a template or some pre-drawn lines to fill in the entire rest with my pencil. It is an ancient eastern man, maybe a monk, maybe even a buddha figure. I draw the head (iirc there was maybe only the upper body part to be drawn) and I recognise that I need not draw the mouth as it is already there. It is smiling. So I draw a (rather huge) nose above it.
On a second page (another paper) there is another similar eastern monk or a sage figure who is moving or dancing, one sees the whole body this time. I look at one of the other students next to me and am worried that I won't make the test in time as the other students seem faster than me and almost ready.
There are also questions to be answered. (It looks like a multiple choice test). Somehow the answers for these text questions 'come to me' in a flow and are spoken in my mind. I do not however remember what it was about, neither if they were the right answers or if it was just a discussion of the questions.

Interpretation: Maybe the smile just shows me to lighten up from time to time, also during my spiritual progress (maybe it is even a necessary part of it as the smiling 'buddha' shows). Me being the slowest student (apperently) shows that I might still be the 'newbie'. But hey, at least I am part of that class.

    Doula

I am at my old university in a corridor next to some of the elevators and am speaking to a fellow student. Maybe she is also a tutor herself, not sure. We had a course together jsut before this chat. She is a very good and eager student. I think she even gave a talk in that class. I know her from my very early school days. She was an eager student then, too. We somehow agree on a 'date'. It might be for a workshop or to be studying together. Maybe (since she is an over-achiever) she also wants to help me (private tutoring, don't know exactly).

Interpretation: It might be another chosen form of the "Healing Angel". I haven't seen this lady in physical life for far over 20 years. Don't know if I ever dreamt of her before, rather not. So it is interesting why she as a figure was chosen for me to be a kind of mentor in the dream. Her first/last name combination is rare and so I used google for research. The finding is indeed interesting with regard to my healer path. I really did not know anything about her (since leaving that school in the 80ies) at all, so this is new for me:
I found out she then went to a high school and there achieved a student's award with a project in biology. She might nowadays be working for a specialised publisher of medical (!!!) books. And moreover, she also seems to work self-employed as a 'doula'. I admit I had to look it up as I never heard this (Greek!) word before at all. Hm, so maybe she offered to help me in giving birth to ... well, what? My spiritual awakening? Becoming a healer?

    Re: Volgerle's Lucidiary

Most of your inclinations seem to be heading in the right direction and logical to me. Drawing a big nose on the guru symbolizes choosing him for a leader, as leaders often have big noses, which is simply one of those peculiar quirks of humanity. The Dreamweaver can appropriate some dreams for the express purpose of spurring us on, 'lighting a fire' under us so to speak, of which kind the first seems to be. I'm sure you're progressing just fine, though, in certain situations, it pays to invest a little more than normal, especially when the return is astronomically disproportionate to the investment. You could be in one of those rare places now, which would explain the urgency you felt in the dream. There are stories of an common, everyday lamp that appears worthless, but whoever possesses it may have whatever they wish for. Did you know that humans, on average, burn most of their daily intake of calories with their brain alone? Might I recommend burning a marginally larger percentage for a while?

Doula is such a beautiful word isn't it. Your doula may be helping you give birth to both. They say, "God is in the details," for a reason, and you said you have this woman's first and last name, which are no doubt pregnant with meaning. I can only give you my full interpretation if I have all of the information. If you wish not to reveal it on this thread, just send me a pm.

You know, some of the dreams we have are for other people, which their higher selves lend to ours, knowing their incarnation will read it after we post it publicly, causing some priceless lucid moments in their lives, for which we are rewarded. I say this because some of the information in some of your dreams, may be purely for the benefit of others, in which cases, there is truly no need to worry. Oliver would probably call this phenomenon "permeation," right Oliver? It pays to have faith in the Dreamweaver's deep, intricate and far-reaching understanding of Karma.

    University Dream

Another progress dream in a 'dream' place where I am so often.

    University, New Semester, First Day

I'm in one of the buildings of my uni (I went to in the 90ies) of the Hispanic faculty at the first day in the morning. I notice I still need to get a course catalog book for this sememster (I'm not a fresher, it's just a new term, maybe 2nd or 3rd). I want to take lots of seminars this time, also to get to know many fellow students and make friends (well, maybe also to get some 'dates' with some of the girls ).

In order to get the course book I get to another campus and am inside the huge building where there is a university book store (it's all in a real place I know from my uni). The shop is familiar, only counter looks actually like a bank counter and not as I know it.

The woman behind the counter (in her 30ies) jokes with me and says that she is married and another customer girl next to me says the same. I laugh but also wonders since I cannot remember asking her out for a date actually, , since I just wanted to buy the schedule of courses for this semester.

She says it's 3.50 (or 3.80, don't remember exactly) euros. I open my wallet and (as always) it is filled with banknotes. I take out a 5-euro-bill (there are several). But then it does at first not look like one. It's rater greenish like a dollar. It also has inscribed "Avatar" on one side. I give it to her then.

Then I am surprised because next to the course catalog she hands out an identity card. It looks like a German Id card but in upright portrait instead of landscape format. I see what could be my passport pic at the top right. Then I also see a star somehow in the middle. Without any further comment I take it. I then almost forget to take the course book and am called back by the saleswoman.

I take a seat in the nearby cafeteria then. Strangely I am at a table which is not there in the physical at an unusual place near the coffee machine. I got a coffee from the coffee dispensing machine and am about to leaf through the course book in order to draw up my schedule for this semester and also to know which first course to go to later on that day. I then sip at the coffee mug but it tastes awful, too sour, stale or even completely rotten somehow. I spit out the mouthful I took before into the mug again. I am not a complainer so I just leave it standing there on the table. Don't remember more.

    Interpretation

Dreams about Spanish courses at the university is (as well as my being back in the student's hall of my semester abroad in Oxford) related metaphorically to the study of Healing in general. But, as Korpo pointed out, the language courses (English, Spanish, and recently even French) I dream of also mean learning to communicate in NPMR. For me both concepts are not mutually exclusive at all.

What is it with the 'avatar' and the 'id card' in exchange? For me, the 'avatar' is the incarnated ego. So is the ID my higher self maybe? I know that 'avatar' has the spiritual meaning of a kind of descended deity. But why would I hand this in as a tender for an ID (= the 'real' me?)? Surely it is full of symbolism.

And do I have access to sth now (card = permit for some areas) where I could not go before? Hopefully it is also a university library card in order to access the Akashic and/or my Soul Records? The night before I really asked God / my HS to help me even better in retrieving detailed information about past lives I've seen so far (especially about supposedly 18-19th century 'Lady Sinera' or the 15th century Ecuadorian indigenous 'indio' man). Maybe this is the help granted now?

But what about the spoilt coffee? Maybe it is simply telling me not to ingest (too much) caffeine anymore?

Some dream symbol meanings provided by Dreammoods:

ID card - To see your I.D. in your dream signifies your own self-confidence.

Beverages - To drink a beverage in your dream represents your ability to understand and take in a new idea or concept. The dream may be analogous to your thirst for knowledge. Consider the type of beverage for additional meaning.

Coffee - To dream that you are drinking or need your coffee suggests that you need to gain some insight and knowledge before making a decision or tackling some project/relationship. You may be acting too hasty and need to slow down. Alternatively, it may imply a need for you to change your routine.

Hmm, interesting again. Maybe I 'bought' self-confidence with the I.D.? Confidence = trust in or knowledge of my '(higher) self'?

Drinking as expression of 'thirst for knowledge' hits it perfectly. But the bad coffee might indicate that the ingestion of the new knowledge (about my"self") might not at all be good then? Maybe it relates to knowledge about the other avatars (egos)? Or I am just to hasty with this? Maybe I wanted to take too many seminars? To learn too much? (In another recent projection I met a waitress that might indicate I have to "wait" and be patient for certain things to arrive).

Waitress - To see a waiter in your dream indicates that you need to be nurtured and to feel special. The dream may also be a pun to be patient. Learn to wait.

    Food for thought.

    Re: Volgerle's Lucidiary

An ID card in a dream represents your identity. You note that both values (money) and identity (ID card) are different in nonphysical reality than you experience them in physical reality. In this case the ID card might indeed be about getting access - what you can access in nonphysical reality is encoded in your energy field. You're in a sense getting a read-out of that. This is different from a Gatekeeper, which would normally check your ID instead. An avatar means embodiment, so maybe this refers to you as the incarnate, giving energy (current-cy ) / attention to gaining access to information (as laid out in the catalogue).

    01/Aug/2012: Whispery Being

    01/Aug/2012
    Whispery Being

Already 2 days ago, I was told I have a decision to make til or before "the 9th". The month was not given but I assume that it might be this one. (Btw, I also had a dream 4 months ago where I had a ticket to a nice concert and went there. On the ticket I saw the 19. August as a date. I'm now curious what will happen on or from th 9. to 19. of this month - or if anything happens at all.)

I was also told the name of two of my guides, but only remembered one completely. As I asked for Sinera's year of birth I was told I would not have more birth dates. I asked if that meant I wasn't here before at all but received no clear answer.

    Comments / Afterthoughts

All were "answers" to questions of mine except for the "decision til the 9th" thing. I don't know however if I can believe the being that told me this. It was in exit blindness and I did not gain clarity/vision, moreover I do not have the impression that it was a guide (althouth another helper of mine, a girl, uses indeed a 'whispery' voice too, yet it wasn't the same one I suppose).
So it might even have been a subcon-aspect of myself or any little astral wildlife thingy talking any kind of senseless BS to me. I also had the impression it was smaller than me when I held its hand while it was talking to me. Also first it only whispered and only spoke up a little when I asked it to do so, as if it was a little shy first (reminding me of the fairy-like helpers from my 30. June lucidventure).

Exit blindness in my book is a hint at being in a higher body than usual. This would be for you the mental body. This would explain again the lack of sight and the lack of clear communication - not yet developed inner senses and chakras of that vehicle of consciousness. The quality of your access to the mental body will vary, and only improve over time.

In the mental body it's unlikely to "get conned." Even the undeveloped mental body does not have the same limitations as an undeveloped astral body. Both shyness and small size need not mean anything - a higher being would try to shield its true magnitude from you, both in terms of appearance and speech, so that you can adapt. The presence of higher beings can be overwhelming. Kurt once quoted Rilke with "Every angel is terrifying" to express this - a higher being needs to carefully regulate how much of itself it will expose to you to not overload the sensibilities of your present stage of development. You're still adapting to being in that body, after all.

Given the frequency of my exits into blindness (I'd estimate it to 30% or more of all exits) I'd say that I am in this body quite often.

Sometimes I gain vision then by certain techniques (affirmation "clarity now", grabbing things around me, the temples technique) but sometimes not even this works. Actually I'm a bit clueless and also unnerved by it. Recently, I get more and more impatient when it happens (also I quickly get into a kind of -like mood). It's becasue I always lose too much of my precious time since my lucidventures are already too short anyway.

So you think that always when I gained sight I am in the mental body? Does that mean that my 'environment' is the mental plane (e.g. the 'astral portal' I often jump into would then also rather be a 'mental portal' instead)? At least this could maybe motivate me again when 'blind' next time (and hopefully remember your words then ).
