    A beautiful pop song

(feels like) Heaven ~ Fiction Factory MMMmmmm.......

Is This Love ? ~ Alison Moyet - yes, most definately! x

Eyes Without a Face ~ Billy Idol - an awesome song ..... this song i used alot to hold a space during a VERY difficult time for me. Spring 2007 i spent a gruesome 2 months locked up and forcibly drugged in our local psychiatric hospital,

....one of those times, where yet again, i was amazed i 'made it through!' xX

Re: Pop Songs for Processing Space

Just heard some music playing in my head, and had the words 'love' and 'apart' as the only words i knew were connected to the song...

Now i'm assuming i have heard this playing somewhere recently, most probably off an advert on T.V., but i don't as yet remember this...

I traced the song and it was 'Love Will Tear us Apart' ~ Joy Division x

    Lyrics

    When routine bites hard,
    And ambitions are low,
    And resentment rides high,
    But emotions won't grow,
    And we're changing our ways,
    Taking different roads.

Then love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.

Why is the bedroom so cold?
You've turned away on your side.
    Is my timing that flawed?
    Our respect runs so dry.
    Yet there's still this appeal
That we've kept through our lives.

But love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.

You cry out in your sleep,
    All my failings exposed.
And there's a taste in my mouth,
    As desperation takes hold.
    Just that something so good
    Just can't function no more.

But love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.
Love, love will tear us apart again.

In 2006 i was very impacted by pop group Embrace

First, by their song - Nature's Law

and then a little later by their then album called - This New Day

I had recently forgotten again how much i loved their music..... that was until embrace showed up....Thanks embrace!

Re: Pop Songs for Processing Space

This last week, i have been in another 'high' processing space...

Been using Phil Colin's ~ Hits album

I first found and used this album back in spring 2008 processing phase, although i didn't end up in the psychiatric hospital that year, my dogs and I did spend a whole day 'locked-up' safely? in a police cell, dog kennel approx. 60 miles from our home.
And then i was put on medication, which i HAD to take to avoid being forced into hospital.

I had intended to enjoy a day out and visit a seaside, but began to feel physically so very ill, so pulled off the motorway and parked-up, and then became mentally muddled & confused and overwhelmed by the impact of info. coming into me from reality and i was then 'stuck!' and had to be rescued eventually by the police.

Also been listening to BassHunter ~ Now you're gone album

My daughter had his album bought for her as a present for her birthday in 2008, and she then introduced me to BassHunter and his music...

So in early 2009 i used Basshunter's music heavily to get me through another intense mad processing phase

Hampton the Hamster - The Official Hamster Dance Song

Been using this song on repeat this morning...... i am dealing with being 'SICK to my STOMACH' issues...

I carry most of my weight in my belly area, it's looks like i am 8 months pregnant...

When i am in a good 'high' processing phase i can connect with my belly area & emotionally release the stuff trapped in there, it comes out as a crying release. It feels so good to cry from there & also reduces the sickly, nauseaous feelings too.

I am 'sick to the stomach' of my life, and am presently 'trying' yet again to change my circumstances in a physical way....

Re: Pop Songs for Processing Space

    Thanks CFT X

i began watching the song /video.... and was trying REALLY hard to like it & 'get it'...

Then realised and thought 'Hang on a min. what am i doing!! ??'

Then continued to watch & listen AND suddenly realised..... i probably have the same 'look' of 'puzzlement' as that woman sitting outside her caravan in the blue dress........

Now i'm gonna continue to listen & watch AGAIN...... Gu-ar-uH !! ?.... This 'waking-up' bussiness sure is complicated stuff!! ....... xx

    Goyte - Hearts A Mess

A very impactful video, words & music ...... Awesome! xX

    Lyrics

    Pick apart
    The pieces of your heart
    And let me peer inside
    Let me in
Where only your thoughts have been
    Let me occupy your mind
    As you do mine

    You have lost
    Too much love
    To fear, doubt and distrust
    (It's not enough)
You just threw away the key
    To your heart

    You don't get burned
    ('Cause nothing gets through)
    It makes it easier
    (Easier on you)
But that much more difficult for me
    To make you see

    Love ain't fair
    So there you are
    My love
    [ Lyrics from:
    Your heart's a mess
    You won't admit to it
    It makes no sense
    But I'm desperate to connect
And you, you can't live like this

    Your heart's a mess
    You won't admit to it
    It makes no sense
    But i'm desperate to connect
And you, you cant't live like this

    Love ain't safe
You won't get hurt if you stay chaste
    So you can wait
But I don't wanna waste my love

Re: Pop Songs for Processing Space

Was just able to watch / listen to Shoreline by Anna Ternheim

This is some of the songs which have a big impact on me. at times I'm a very emotional person so sometimes I really can't listen to these when, for example, I'm at work. Don't know why they in particular have such a big impact on me.

Thanks Sirius T. i appreciate it...

Was not really knowing where to put my focus, or how i felt about it all, so i tried to put my attention on the images of the video, to get some understanding from these..... it began to make more sense to me then...

At 2.40 mins. into the song, when it showed us again the image of the 'little girl'...... i 'got it !'

That is it touched my & i felt a brief moment of & appreciation....

Hope at some point to watch / listen to the other songs/videos that you posted up too......
