Yup. It's like that for me, too. One minute you're there, looking at the lights or whatever, next minute you're slowly coming to wakefulness (last time I had surgery, I was apparently saying, "Ow... ow.... ow...." over and over and I was trying to push the oxygen mask off my face, saying I couldn't breath with it on).
It's not unusual to say or do out-of-character things when you come out of anesthesia. Think of it as powering up a complex computer system, where some things come online quicker than others. Your ability to talk seems to come back pretty quickly, but not your ability to have any control over what you say!
May the light surround you, may you be blessed. May the light surround us, may we be blessed. May love and light surround us all, and may we all be healed and blessed. And so it is, and so it shall be, now and ever after.
