    Dream Recall Problems

I have just finshed my frist week on MAP. My biggest problem is with drean recall and I know that this is so important. My problems arise from me being a parent. I have a two kids that come in my room and wake me up every morning. Sometimes the youngest comes in very early(3 or 4 in the morning). This is very distracting because then my signifcant other wakes up and moves around. Then any shadow memory just seems to leave. If anyone else has expeienced this and could please help and give some suggestions it would be greatly appreiated. Happy dreaming to all.

Other than having pen & paper next to you as soon as you open your eyes- . You could try putting your cheek on the pillow to recreate the 'feeling' and see if you can get it back, as soon as your young'uns settle down.

Or, you can immediately tell your S.O. about your dreams, and hope that hearing it out loud helps you remember.

Dream recall has been a problem at times for me as well. My question is, how are you at daydreaming? Can you let go with it and just watch as it develops on its own, or is it something that feels more like you are making it happen from start to finish? If you can get it to be at all spontaneous, it counts just as much as the regular sort of dreaming you do in your sleep and writing about it counts. You can even interpret your daydreams the same way you do the regular kind - and it is a lot easier to remember because there is not as much contrast with the state you are in when you wake up to write it down.
