Great breakdown of a variety of practices. I will be expanding my practice shortly and including some of your great suggestions.

I have taken ome workshops recently with a woman named Lori Wilson. She is a world reknowned teacher (and lives in my town!) of channelling, regression and medical intuition. http://inneraccess101.com/

What you call sitting, she calls channelling. I have been studying this quite a bit recently (getting messages from a spirit and relaying it either to paper or anoter person, not letting the spirit speak through you in a trance) and there are definetly differences between what you have described and what she describes.

While I see energy raising as very beneficial to energetic development and should be done. I don't see it as necessary for spirit contct, even clear spirit contact. In fact in Lori's classes most people don't do anything outside of channelling and maybe one or two of them do reiki. There were lot's of profound result as well between people with things such as big emotional breakthroughs when someone touched on a piece of deep information, often regarding a loved one passed on.

But I agree it should be done as it can enhance the perception so why not do it as part of a practice every time you're about to do a session!

My personal experience with protection is I don't need it in my own home, I barely ever need it in everyday life either. Recently the only time I hve used it is on a trip which involved flying on a plane for 12 hours!

If a negative energy ever shows itself I show it the same compassion and open heartedness I shw anyone else. 99% of the time the energy leaves without disruption as there is nothing for it to attach to as I have no fear of it! most spirits don't require protection either as the ones with the messages for us that are important are from this "high" plane and don't have fear either.

In the rare case that there is an energy that is being disruptive I ask the archangels of the cardinal points to remove it and take it to a place in existence that will serve it's most ballanced good for itself and the entire cosmos, and it always works.

One example of dealing with extremely negative energies is a story Lori told me about when she was teaching a class in Brazil. She was working hrough a translator with a class of around 50 people. A little less than half the class were possessed and sat at the back of th class room, some moaning every so often. Because of the belief system in Brazil it has become almost fashionable to be possessed!

Part way through the class Lori wanted to demonstrate that all negaive energies are just an aspect of somones mind (not discounting that these energies can take on a form and are then real entities). She brought a man up to the front while explaining how belief systems of entire nations are like louds foating above a country. A religious belief system cloud which holds the ideas of negtive energies being the source of most problems in life beomes super charged with so many people believing it. This can get in the way of truth.

After that she basically tuned into the "possessed" man and traced the negative energy to it's source. She got his brother and then described a scene in the mans life where his brother had been abusive towards him. This had become a way of life and tht's all that their relationship held. The man was then no longer possessed as he saw the truth.

She did this with every single person in the room with no need for a dramatic exorcism. She simply stood in a place of absolutel no fear, but held a vibration of love.

Are adverts allowed on AD though ?

She is not famous in USA or Australia btw . I never heard of her . Perhaps she is well known in Canada .But I do not believe in charging fees to learn how to speak to spirit because spirit teaches that for free . What spirit teachers provide in love should not be sold to another for profit .

Here in Australia my peers and I learn together as peers with no fee and I would like to challenge you to top our free methods .

Perhaps you did not understand her lessons . Because actually , none of these methods are about channeling .Sitting in meditation is just that, to place oneself in a sitting position in a chair . The term "sitter" oto is the one being read by the medium .

Channeling means to listen to a teaching spirit and then give off their message . This can be done in a wide variety of ways including but not limited to ;

* automatic writing
* invocation
* trance mediumship
* evocation
* projection to the realms


I do see and hear avatars , spirit teachers , archangels , guides, spirits ,etc. But this framework given here is not meant for that purpose . This scaffolding is about beginning pathworking for development of the energy body , for healing , projection , and development of clairient abilities .

That's because they are not the same thing. Again , you are looking at a series of links to begin pathworking to develop emergent skills in a wide variety of manners and this is not a channeling method .

But I am happy to allow you to remote view me for free or one of my peers and you can show me how much you learned . I have been hearing and seeing spirit since 2 years old and I am 51 .

I have worked with a wide variety of teachers some charged 2 or 5 $ a week but most taught for free .

If you want a helpful workshop take energy awareness and raising energy with Robert Bruce . He will charge a lot less .His methods are not learnt for free from spirit teachers . He learned his methods through personal research and he charges a reasonable fee for training in something that is tangible and a prerequisite foundation for other metaphysical pathworking . His methods are practical and will advance you metaphysically .

And you can get tutorials here on the site for free .

And once you learn how to bring energy into the body effectively developing it , then you can develop all the other metaphysical skills with experience .

Paying someone money to teach you to hear spirits in 3 days is not the same thing . That experience cannot be taught or paid for . Only methods can be taught not experiences . And it takes a lot of experience to learn the symbolism to interpret a clairvoyant message . But if you can read me , I would love to be proved wrong in that respect .

I disagree . Energy is fundamental to all metaphysical skills .It is necessary for all pathworking .

Raising energy ;
heals the body ,
affords a higher sustainable vibration ,
affords a higher degree of natural protection ,
amplifies reception of spirit messages ,
amplifies abilty to sense within projection
eases separation ,
develops higher level skills beyond the cursory emergent level
etc .

I do . We do in open and closed circle and in readings , healings , personal meditations etc .

You are of course entitled to your opinion . But I completely disagree . This is Robert Bruce's site . He wrote Astral Dynamics and Practical Psychic Self Defense , MAP etc . Robert has spent decades helping people who made the mistake of not using any protection . I work as an exorcist . I have seen demons . Sending them love does not keep them from harming , attaching , draining , and harming the mental and physical well being of their victims . But this is nothing to do with this topic . If you want to argue that protection is unnecessary you could perhaps find some people in serious neg abuse forum who would be willing to tell you otherwise more expertly.

Poverty breeds negative attachments not religion or cultural belief systems . There is not a cloud over the country . Brazil is a poor country . 1/4 live below the poverty line . Many more are not much better off . Poverty breeds all forms of abuse .Abuse breeds attachment and possession . Rich people get abused and attached too but not in the same proportions .

Many who become negatively attached and or possessed have been abused sexually . Telling them who did it does not impress me . That is just a psychic linking . And it is useless as they already know who did it to them . Removing the attachment is not done by saying" your brother did this to you" . The demon that causes the pedophile to be the perpetrator then affects the victim and both are attached .

How much did she charge the impoverished people of Brazil for her lessons?

I am confident that her "standing in love" did not exorcise any spirit .

It is difficult for me to find you as a credible source . I have had many magician mentors who have real metaphysical experience .

Just because a woman charges you a fee that does not make her an expert or you ,as her student, an expert either .

Robert has removed negs globally for free and I have read testimonials of his victims and I have met some of his patients . I work with a group who does the same .

I do not find any reason to debate further with you about the need for protection or the need for exorcism . This is off topic on this thread .
If you want to debate how great your teacher is and if moderators allow it , kindly split it off my thread and make one of your own .

To argue methodology , you should first have credible experience of your own .


My mentors in protection against negs are Robert Bruce who is 52 and Bill Van de Berg who is 73 years old . These men work for free and have helped countless victims for decades .

I must apologize as I do see how much I have diverted this thread from the original topic. I posted this quite shortly after having taken the workshop so I was in that "this information is golden and must be shared with everyone!!!" mode... I hoe you can understand that's where I was coming from :p

Needless to say Ill just add these few things about her and then I'll leave it at that, perhaps we can discuss it further through private messages.

She has 20 or so trainers under her who teach worldwide. I don't think she has ever been looking for fame with her work, just to spread what she perceives as truth to spiritual teachings. the main thing she teaches is medical Intuition which she studied under Dr. Norm Sheally and Carolyn Myss, two very credible people in the field. She herself was intuitive and saw spirits from a young age and then after University she began a channelling practice and has been doing that successfully for 24 years.

I am also a student of Robert Bruce and love his teachings and energy work methods. I also practice them. I don't know what you mean about paying her $900 as the course was only $450. Plus she has a half price student price which I was able to pay. (I took both the course you listed earlier this year as well as the Channelling as a Profession just two weekends ago)

I see the difference now between channelling and sitting. I attribute my quick and non specific response to the strange head space I was in after a 3 day workshop that had a lot of processing to do afterwards.

Would you also disagree with people who run a healing practice and make money doing that? (I must say many people who do this barely scrape by unless they have some support from a spouse for example, Lori herself doesn't even own a car)

In my humble opinion I see this work that we all do wether it be healing or channelling or mediumship to be of benefit to other people. It is part of the transformation we are all helping to create in this world which is presently going through change for the better.

If you were to invest a large portion of your time for a certain number of years to developing these abilities wether they be healing, channelling or clairvoyance is it such a crime to ask people for money to help support yourself so you have more time to develop these abilities and then further you abilitie to help other people help themselves, and help others from then on etc etc?

The teachings from spirit is free yes and we should all start at a place of practice where we do readings for free to gain exprience. But like a mechanic who has gone through school or prenticeship to get this free knowledge he must get people to pay him for his work or else he has to work under someone else as his main job and then fix cars on evenings and weekends??? If you are in a situation wether it is you are retired or have the support of a spouse or some other means where you have ample time to pursue your interests without having to worry about paying the bills, I could see it as wonderful to be able to help people in the way that you describe.

Most certainly I do . If the aspirant will sit in meditation ,the teachers will appear for free in light & love . These teachers ask nothing except for us to also do the same to share in love & light, for free .

Yes I do . You asked me in PM about Robert . He refuses money for healing or for providing advice about protection against negs .He charges for his books and workshops although his basic tutorials and treatises are provided for free .

It takes little time to heal , one can work at another job to support oneself.I do .I worked as a schoolteacher , I have worked as a single parent and still managed to heal , assist in exorcisms , and teach meditation for free . I believe in volunteer service . And I feel if one charges to teach spirit communication that they hit a plateau becoming less able and not moving forward to continue development .

Humans can give sexual satisfaction as lovers for free or they may charge as prostitutes . Humans can hug , smile and encourage for free or charge as escorts .

Healers use universal energy and help from spirit teachers and angels .Charging for healing this way is considered immoral by many , I agree.
Humans can train as doctors and charge , that is different .The doctor uses tools and medicines . The doctor is trained by humans and as such can charge as a human .

I studied at university for 7 years . I accepted pay to teach at school . I refuse pay to aid a grieving parent , to send healing to an ill person , or to read a sitter or to remove a neg .

Not owning a car does not mean she lives modestly though , the rich may choose to hire drivers and limosines .But I do not know her net worth , perhaps she lives modestly or on meager means . But I still feel that charging for teaching what must be learned by experience is wrong . It is like charging for air or to teach how to breathe , it seems so very wrong in my heart. But , it is not my business, it is your money and her business and yours .

You are asking the wrong person . I have developed and learned . I have studied most earnestly these last 11 years devoting time to teach 3 to 5 times a week and to kearn daily .I am expert in a number of metaphysical areas . I continue to learn , to share and to teach, for free .

I have worked since I was 14 years old . I was retired medically in 2005 from Muliple Sclerosis and severe spinal degeneration . It makes no difference . As a single parent in poverty, I still volunteered . As a married partner , I volunteered .

I began to volunteer in the community at 9 years old when I taught ESOl kids to read and taught polio crippled kids to swim with me . I believe as do my peers that it is by service , we grow . If one makes excuses they are just that, excuses. I have never not volunteered since learning the joy of service .
