On reaching some 40' up the rope, I had a sense of elation, that I was really achieving what I had failed at for for many years, a voluntary projection.
Seems that that emotional surge must have trigged and catapulted me up to another level or plane. I have no idea which one, except that it was more subtle and refine than the Astral! I seemed to be part of a v. thin, flexable, expandable cloud.
My attention was rapt by the sight of my astral still pulling up the rope.
WOW! I have long believed that astral projection was a "Giant step" for any man and now I had bolted up two giant steps!
I was concerned about my astral body, as I thought I needed it to go off adventuring.
Next time this happens, watch out for a thin, grey cloud going 100 MPH without any wind.
When we have finished what we have to do in-body, we let go, die and assume an astral body but the time must come when we have worn out our desire to ecperience the Astral Plane and we let it go and move on up.
Zen taught me to "Drop body,drop mind!" Now I have experienced dropping the Astral as well.
