Im practing AP and ework now and ive heard you and other talk about demonic attacks and such. I was just wondering what actually brings them. I no this is probably a complicated answer but i just need a breif description, unless you want to elaborate.

Communication with higher Neg types is possible, but Negs are not exactly straightforward. Reliable information concerning their motivations and the nature of their reality is thus very difficult to obtain. One thing we do know is that higher Negs and demons seem to only attack and possess for specific reasons, and often for set periods of time. But these reasons are difficult to fathom.

The practice of OBE does not in itself attract the attention of negative type entities. The only thing to fear in the out-of-body environment is fear itself. Too much fear creates countless problems for a projector. If fear is a serious problem and cannot be controlled, and if it too easily grows into terror, a projector should not really be projecting. But as I've said before, a small amount of fear is healthy as it breeds caution.

It is highly unusual for projectors to encounter or to be seriously troubled by astral wildlife, especially by really strong negative spirit types.

Spiritual forces, including angels and demons and all spiritual beings between these great extremes, are intimately involved with karma and thus can be said to be the active forces of apparently wild and chaotic universal law. These positive and negative beings respond to the attractive and repulsive forces that every person is born with. For example, the attractions in some people might attract positive spirits to help them along their way in life, but they may also attract negative spirits to test them and to provide resistance.

Thanks that helps. But does he also mean that, say i steal something (which i never do bc i beleive in karm to the fullest) would attract these demons?

No, what he's saying is that the motivations for demons and negs are not really understood by humans, because they are so different than us. While negs (lower order negs) are attracted by energy extremes (like someone who's unstable) the motivations of Demons (as in higher order beings) are just too alien for us to understand, and the only answers come from religious mythology.
So I would say that if you are a criminal and not 'at peace' you could attract negs because of your energy, but whether this would attract a higher order demon? Don't know.

Josac, many people never experience negs at all, despite their practices, so don't worry too much. Others think they've encountered a neg only to discover it was something else.

Since the astral environment is thought-responsive, people often project a thoughtform that frightens but it has no real power and can be treated much like a dream where analysis can yield insight. Dream imagery may also overlay an out of body experience and dreams can produce all kinds of nasty entities that people take for negs.

Even experiencing an actual neg doesn't mean you'll necessarily experience ongoing troubles.

People sometimes blame the Obe or meditation practice for exposing them to negs (and there may be truth in this) but I suspect, a lot of the time, it has only made them aware of something that was, at some level, already existent.

In 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl, Daniel Pinchbeck experiences negative entities as a result of taking a synthetic drug, similar to DMT, as a subject in an experiment. It's possible that accelerated development can throw us in the deep end at times. There may be a whole system of laws governing such things.

While a toxic life and mindset can attract negative attention, there is also the testing factor, where life for some reason sets up a series of tests, the purpose of which is to test ones character and mettle, and to enforce spiritual growth and change.

We know very little about the how and why of these things, but our knowledge will continue to grow so long as we take a realistic and workmanlike approach to these things, and not react out of fear.
