Can you merge with your past self?

if it is possible to merge with your future self, then do you think it is possible to merge with your past self?

say i astral project and go back to when i was 5 years old to observe myself...could i in essence merge with my younger self when i am relaxed or something?

yes, you could temporarily merge with your past self. But this would be temporary only. Its not like you can shift into and possess yourself or anything like that.
