    Thanks, I was wondering about this too, but I kept forgeting to ask about it. I notice when I look at my third eye with my mind I always feel strong pressure in my third eye. I find physically looking with my eyes under closed eyelids rarely works or becomes distracting.

    Lately when I try to project - I guess I am too tired- if I spend too much time doing the pre-exit teks, I tend to drift off slightly. I never sleep on my back, so when I drift off I either jolt back, or I become lucid and convert these pseudo-dreams into an OBE. I think this happened twice, but I don't know if this is the same thing as phasing. The times I did actually try to phase my visualizations were never strong enough.

    Yep, it's phasing.
    And I'd say you're focusing your attention, not your eyes. Looking with the forehead is a good way to describe it, I suppose. But I'd say 'looking with what's behind your eyes (your pineal gland) if I had to put a location to it.

    Hi gang,

    I'm new at this, but what I call phasing is the transferring of your consciousness to your astral body.
    Your astral body can experiance either the RTZ or ATZ. In either case, its detached from your physical body; except for the cord, be it visible or not.

    I usually accomplish this using a sort of awarenes change, kind of like the "Big Wheel" or some sort of spacial displacement.
    I "bounce or shift through myself" and then try to transfer my consciousness to the other "body" as it passes through; trying to take on its perspective. This is realatively easy to do; except trying to look at yourself without the visual reversal is somewhat difficult.

    I find that with real concentration, and being relaxed and able to have the time, that when you can see yourself clearly, a RTZ instantly occurs; but without the exit symptoms. An ATZ projection can also happen at this time and your conscious can transfer between them both or be in them both. At this time both experiances can/will be remembered. I have seen such beautiful planes and wonder if this is some of the mental planes.

    Sooner or later, you come back to your physical body.

    Maybe, without the actual seperation, is this CILDing?

    Anyway, just some thoughts to share.

    I have nothing against phasing, but you won't get energy body development benefit, because you don't have the vibrations.

    IMO strong vibrations only come from poor energy body development. Of course, that's only based on my experience.

    1) You can do energy work and still use phasing as the preferred exit method. It's ease or lack of it depends on whether you're a tactile person, or a visual person. Good visualizers will find phasing easier, tactile people like myself find energy body separation easier.
    2) Vibrations are something you perceive, not something you do. Perceiving vibration only means that you perceive tactilely (and sometimes auditorily) the shift from one state to another. When you phase you still separate, you just perceive it visually. Sometimes when I phase I see pixellation happening- this is a visual equivalent to vibrations.
    3) I used to feel vibes, I no longer do. I am convinced they still happen, but I shift faster, and am not traumatized by it. That doesn't mean my energy body got better or worse- it only means it's not 'new' and noticeable any more.
