Here's what I had read about. This is from Dr. Weil, who is one of the few practicioners I trust, although I don't agree with him on everything, about this I do.

When the flame goes out, you often notice a dark residue on the remaining paper that is supposed to be removed ear wax. It isn't. It's a mixture of combustion products from the burned paper. [snip]
I've found only one medical study of this practice, published in the October 1996 issue of Laryngoscope. It showed that the candles didn't produce the negative pressure said to draw out earwax and that, not surprisingly, no wax was removed. In fact, candle wax was actually deposited into the ears of some of the study volunteers. A survey of 122 ear, nose and throat specialists done in conjunction with the study found 21 reported injuries to the ear resulting from ear candling.

Reminds me of the psychic surgery scams. Well I'm willing to accepts some may have the ability, but there's many fakes. Psychic surgery is something I hope to experience myself some time. Then I'll be able to form an opinion.

So could we go back on topic and talk about the implant removal links? I haven't finished reading the second link yet, but it seems worth buying the workbook.

I'm aware of ear candling being problematic, though I wasn't sure about the liver clense. I thought that would be fine, as long is it was just a one of short term thing. Well being skeptically inclined I would probably make may self aware of the arguments against it before going ahead with it. There's a lot of weird health exagerations like this. Don't yet have the confidence to call it pseudomedical though. Reminds me of the registry clean debate (sorry to go on a tangent). Some people practically call it pseudoscience, though some experienced people say it can work when used properly.

Though it makes sense that physical health would have an affect on spiritual health. I guess the lesson here is not to do all those weird health techniques, but to just make sure you're also physicallly healthy, something which I'm trying to sort out now.

So I found another website. Seems fairly simple and not a butt candle in sight ( ). I haven't read it all yet, but I think it would just clarify the above technique more.

I liked most of what I read (and if you know me by now you know I don't agree with everything anyone says) but I'm not sure why you have to buy anything. She(?) gave a good 'to do' list and actually spelled out how to do some of them, and what she doesn't explain can be found on the net for free.
If I were you, I'd save it somewhere for reference, and then search whatever isn't spelled out already, and as usual, bring out your 'catch basket' and keep what you resonate with. That's what I'd do, anyway.
