Getting rid of mental chatter and garbage
Thank you in advance if you have time to answer my question. I have begun rereading "Astral Dynamics" and look forward to astral projecting again.
When I was young, I had spontaneous and often frightening astral projects. As a teenager, I could project rarely. As an adult, it has been several years since I consciously projected.
The problem is that I’ve built up so many inhibitions and “faces” that my mind wanders when I prepare for astral projection or any advanced form of cognition.
I’ve been spending time trying to release all of the ‘layers’, but it is time consuming, and it seems that my interaction in society just builds them back up.
Can you recommend something for a busy, artificially, superficially complex inhibited mind?
Thank you immensely.

G'day Joe!
The mind taming exercises in Astral Dynamics will help you achieve focus and clarity if you practice them regularly. Try to make good use of travel and waiting time for the exercises, eg, clearing your mind, concentration, etc.
The 90 day course given in Mastering Astral Projection is also excellent. This also includes methods to overcome inhibitions relating to OBE. You can look at this book in the library section of this website.
