    Re: Lucid Dreaming Devices

In my experience I think that Hemi-sync is the most usable. I have never tried lucid dreaming goggles or other things, but it is my belief that they, precisely as binaurals, serve as a tool and does not take you automatically to the experience. You have to have the usual intent, do the usual practices and affirmations etc. to be successful, and I guess the tools used to achieve the preferable state is most often looked upon as being some sort of magic advice that frees you from all the hard work. In my humble opinion it isn't so. Most of us have to take the long road and practice to get there, even with the aid of various devices.
The one thing I can recommend to achieve altered states of consciousness is Hemi-sync from The Monroe Institute. It works on me and its the only thing I can recommend. Although the Hemi-sync material doesn't help with lucid dreaming directly it can be combined with affirmations etc. Mainly it helps you reach altered states of consciousness and possibly helps you as far as inducing lucid dreams. of course its highly individual on how to use it.
