How would an ultrasonic humidifier have any effect on a spirit?

I read on here somewhere that ultrasonic humidifiers are a countermeasure that work on some entities. But when I read up on what an ultrasonic humidifier does I don't see how it could effect them. It doesn't sound like it puts out ultrasonic waves into the air or anthing. It sounds like it just uses a ceramic diaphragm vibrating at an ultrasonic frequency to create water droplets that silently exit the humidifier in the form of a cool fog. So how would an ultrasonic humidifier have any effect on a spirit?

I have an essential oil thingimabob, that works. It objectifies uniqueness, not the negs' verson, my version. I don't know what they do if they don't have essences in them tho.
