what i see?

hi.i see the white light around living and non-living objects.the width of this light changes from distance.when i look to the object from distance 2 metre,i see the light width 1 cm.when i look to the object from the distance 10 metre i see the light width 5 cm.what is this?aura or after image or ...i can not understand.the width of te aura can changes from the distance?excuse me for my english.please answer me.thanks
