Hi All,

I have been practicing mediation and yoga since last 8 years. In recent times, i have started having lot of experiences which i have mentioned below. I wanted to know what are these experiences all about.

1. There are some pleasurable sensations at the crown chakra which i feel quite frequently and also feel like energy passing from top of my
head.

2. I can also seen white kind of energy around other humans.

3. I am experiencing lot of yawning (after this yawning it feels better and relaxed)

4. Intense pressure in neck. It feels like someone is strangling my neck and as a result the neck moves downwards or sometimes upwards
with lot of force which i am not able to control. This seems to happen even more when some people are near me.

5. Body feels like with tons of energy and if i don't release it with some exercises and stretching it feels very heavy and not able to move
much.

6. I feel sometimes very tired and i am kind of forced to sleep for 10 minutes and i feel refreshed and lightweight.

7. When i close my eyes and sit for meditation, i feel like my body is moving and shaking from one side to another and getting into third eye chakra.

8. Dont feel like breathing and have to make lot of efforts to do it.

9. Rapid mood swings and then suddenly feel peaceful etc.

Please help me out.

Hello, shrin.

4. Intense pressure in neck. It feels like someone is strangling my neck and as a result the neck moves downwards or sometimes upwards
with lot of force which i am not able to control. This seems to happen even more when some people are near me.

What you describe sounds a lot like increased energy flow hitting an energy blockage. When increased energy flow hits an energy flow the result is a sensation. The sensations is usually unpleasant and somehow related to the spot the energy blockage is in.

So, for example, an energy blockage in your throat can feel like constriction or feeling like shortness of breath, even when you just sit in meditation and breathe deeply and rather smoothly. The associated sensation is not real compared to the degree it is felt. It's like looking at the blockage with a lens and everything is amplified.

In the case you are describing I would assume it's the strength of the energy flow that is primarily causing the strong sensation. This can lead to things like involuntary jerks and twitches, for example, or muscles moving "on their own," twisting and unwinding, for example. Is this what you are trying to describe?

9. Rapid mood swings and then suddenly feel peaceful etc.

This is usually the result of touching and (partially) releasing emotional energy blockages during energy work or meditation. To minimise this effect, practice proper grounding.

One typical grounding exercise is to imagine a pipe extending from your base chakra / pelvis and visualise it sinking towards the Earth's core. Then anchor it there (or tie it around the Earth's core) and call your name down the pipe three times. Now you have a grounding cord.

Try creating grounding cords several times and letting them go. Create them before practising meditation. After a meditation session have the intention to drop all unreleased energy down the grounding cord to the Earth's core to be recycled. You can visualise this for example by imagining a cloud of energy around your body you want to let go of and then visualise it being sucked down the pipe. Just one way to do it. Afterward you can let go of the grounding cord and let it fall back to the Earth's core as well.

8. Dont feel like breathing and have to make lot of efforts to do it.

This phenomenon is not unheard of with long-time meditators or Qigong practitioners. It seems like one in and out breath per minute or less is possible, or less if the sources are reliable.

Your body has an internal breathing reflex. It will breathe on its own accord to preserve itself. (However I am not a medical practitioner so do not take my word for it. Do your own research and maybe consult a specialist.)

For safety's sake however I cannot recommend exploring this without access to a knowledgeable teacher.

7. When i close my eyes and sit for meditation, i feel like my body is moving and shaking from one side to another and getting into third eye chakra.

Does it really? It might be your etheric body loosening from your physical body, and your consciousness with it. You might be actually experiencing the "symptoms" of an oncoming out-of-body experience.

5. Body feels like with tons of energy and if i don't release it with some exercises and stretching it feels very heavy and not able to move much.

I think you might be instinctively doing the right thing.

6. I feel sometimes very tired and i am kind of forced to sleep for 10 minutes and i feel refreshed and lightweight.

Do you normally get enough sleep? Given what you describe it seems like your body is giving apropriate feedback and if you can get a refreshment with 10 minutes of sleep that actually sounds very good.

3. I am experiencing lot of yawning (after this yawning it feels better and relaxed)

I think yawning can be part of the body's mechanism to release energy.

Cheers,
Oliver

Thanks a lot for your reply. I can feel the jerks and twitches, muscle movements etc. How can we free the energy blockage from the neck area? What intrigues me is that it happens more when i am near any person. Is their energy field affecting me?

About point no. 7, yes body feels shaking a bit from one side to another with all the attention locke at third eye chakra. When this happens i am not aware of the body.

Point no. 6, yes i sleep atleast for 7 hours everyday but sometimes i even sleep more. Is it something to do with getting rid of -ve energies/ burning karma etc?

Hello, shrin.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

You are welcome. :)

I can feel the jerks and twitches, muscle movements etc. How can we free the energy blockage from the neck area? What intrigues me is that it happens more when i am near any person. Is their energy field affecting me?

One method for working with the energy blockage is the following, which I practice every day:

When you feel the sensation, pay attention to it. The usual reflex is to move your awareness elsewhere to avoid discomfort and pain, etc. The challenge is to not act on that reflex and trying to stay gently aware of the area the sensation came from.

If you stay with the sensation for a while it may shift or change in many ways. Try to stay with what you feel. These changes and shifts mean that the energy starts to become unblocked and flow. This can lead to changes in the body, too.

An energy block in the etheric body may be directly related with a tense muscle. The muscle may start to feel like it is unwinding, lengthening, moving, rubbing against itself, twitching or pulsing. As the blockage resolves a feeling of relaxedness, a warm or even cool feeling, an airy feeling might remain.

If you feel like you are tensing up hard instead you are trying too hard and should try to let go or direct your attention elsewhere.

This process can take time and practice, but it will help you release ever deeper layers of muscles and their associated nerves. It has done great things for me, and I was really, really tense.

Alternatively, if you prefer something more active, you can try also the brushing and sponging actions from Robert Bruce's NEW energy work. Instructions available here on the site. Just see how you like it.

About point no. 7, yes body feels shaking a bit from one side to another with all the attention locke at third eye chakra. When this happens i am not aware of the body.

Still not clear whether you mean the etheric body or your physical body shaking. Usually shaking during meditation is happening due to release of blocked energies, especially in the physical body. It's like cleaning out a myriad of very small things at once, your body is shaking them out. That would be one explanation.

If you meditate and your conscious awareness shifts in any of the energy bodies, like the etheric or astral bodies, several things might happen. Usually become less or much less aware of the physical body. Also the energy body you're in might move in some way, I for example sometimes experience rotation, which can be very disorienting. If you're switching your consciousness into the etheric or astral bodies, a variety of symptoms associated with "OBE exit" can happen, including loud or roaring noises. You can look up a list here on site with AD-Pedia.

Point no. 6, yes i sleep atleast for 7 hours everyday but sometimes i even sleep more. Is it something to do with getting rid of -ve energies/ burning karma etc?

I don't know what "-ve energies" are, can you elaborate?

I'm not sure whether karma can be burned off. I hear about that from time to time, but it runs a bit counter to what I understand karma to be. I cannot give you an answer to that.

Sleep plays a vital role for integrating experiences. So do dreams, which also play a role in balancing our emotions, for example. Sleep triggers regeneration in the body.

If these naps leave you refreshed then they seem to serve a positive purpose in your life. I often would wish I could do something like that - get a 10 minute nap and be refreshed. This surely beats getting ever more tired during the day and enjoying your waking time less.

Cheers,
Oliver

Neck stuff can go on for a long time...try all kinds of vocalizing including toning. Take kelp and spirulina to boost your thyroid at this time...and tapping on the sternum while humming.
The exericses following will help...

PRESSURE IN THE HEAD

The head pressure can last intermittently for years relative to seasons and moon, and hurricanes around the world. The month of July is usually the most intense...with subsequent hurricanes being felt more in the diaphragm. Keep up with raw greens and magnesium. Drink plenty of water spiked with lemon juice and have lengthy soaks in baths or ocean/rivers. If you can find a falling column of water such as a waterfall sit for a long time with head and spine under it. Put one hand at the back of neck and the other at base of spine. Breathing walks in nature will help as will lying on the grass/ground or sand. Put feet in river or ice water. Keep meditation sessions short and focus more on toning and vocalizing. Try all kinds of novel ideas such as tree hugging to equalize or normalize the pressure. You may find the north pole of magnets helps as might crystals. Eventually the head pressure will subside, but it takes a strong person to work with it instead of against it.

I'm just guessing now, but I've also experienced the neck pressure, like the pressure is on the lower front sides of my neck. Sometimes the pressure can move up to the upper part of my neck and sometimes up to the crown and after a while disappear. This movement from lower neck to top crown can take anything from a few days to an hour.

What I do is to gather a lot of NEW energy into my sub navel area. Then I try to figure out in what chakras below my neck that I feel _no_ activity. I stimulate the base chakra for a minute and then I usually find that the navel and heart chakra hves little activity, stimulate them too with awareness hands. The chakra that is most difficult to stimulate (so I feel vibrations) is my heart chakra. When I've stimulated all lower chakras, I usually only touch the neck and forehead chakras for 5 seconds in my mind. The lower chakra stimulation seems to feed the neck chakra with enough energy to move the pressure upwards into my head.

If it works all times? No. Sometimes my poor neck chakra gets more pressure. I then try doing something physical like walking. Sometimes it just goes away all by itself.

About the mood swings, it can be Negs attaching to you. Try to ask them to move to the light or at least investigate the light, looking at the light is for free. If that doesn't work, say to the Neg: "You don't belong here. I want you to go away. Go away!"
