great interview with Peter Taylor, on Conscious Media Network.

"Peter Taylor is a natural scientist who has written a book called 'Chill' in which he warns that the world is cooling and that solutions proposed at Copenhagen ignore the risks of starvation, resource depletion, threats to ecosystems and a possible return of the Ice Age.

In this interview, we cover a lot of ground, from the alchemical origins of modern science to the financial boardrooms of City of London banks.

After graduating in Natural Sciences at Oxford University (and later returning to study Social Anthropology) he set up and directed the Oxford-based Political Ecology Research Group and pioneered the development of critical scientific review on environmental issues, both in the examination of official policy and in its use as a campaigning tool for legal reforms such as the precautionary principle (he was a leading advocate of this at UN conventions)."
