well, this might be a good laugh for some (or not) but I still want to ask

is there any sense in looking at a flash movie from a video portal on healers offering distant healing (instantly!)?
i mean ... the healer itself is not active at this moment, it is just a stored video retrievable for everyone at will at any time and any place, next to the problem of time distance it is not personal at all

so looking at this and feeling something would, i assume, rather be a kind of self-healing?

just an example of what I mean:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXwmVUylfFc

(this is just a random example, it is not about ridiculing, debunking or criticising this healer, maybe he does an awesome job in all respects, the guy looks honest and capable to me, so again ... just an example to give you the idea what I am talking about)

do you have any experiences with this?

(there is sth similar with Reiki, where I am told there is a kind of "store" which you can tap into everytime you want, but which store would I access here in this case - the 'youtube flash movie healing online cache store' ?)

It is said that all healing is self healing, whether you use medicine, faith healing or other modalities. So if this is true, it would follow that anything we use focuses or channels our connection to our abilities.
I didn't look at the link yet, so my answer is general, so to speak.

Now that I've seen it, and opened myself to it, I would comment that he is sending energy to wherever it is needed. So in this case energy would be nonlocal, and the need for it would localize it, the intention of receiving it.
I'll let you know of any changes.

All healing is self healing, ultimately. Even Jesus would ask people if they believed, and say things like "your faith has healed you" and so on. It's always according to your own belief. If you believe that someone can trigger healing with their energy or intention or touch of their hands, well.... ;)

I will say I enjoyed this:

By watching the video a energetic connection is automatically created. The more attention and emotions you send towards what you see, the stronger the connection becomes. The connection also is influenced by your intent - for example to receive help/healing/what is offered.

The person who uploads a video can set an intent into it and additionally connect the video with an energy source.

I generally avoid watching such videos, as there can be all kinds of energies and entities linked. It is a kind of energy hygienics for me to not watch all kinds of such things.
At least I would set the intention, that I allow only what is for my highest good.

As is already said, we always heal our selves in the end. The topic of healing is much more complex as usually seen. One would have to ask first, what was the source/reason for a pain/sickness. There is a difference between "real healing" vs. "just removing the symptoms". "Modern school medicine" mostly works on removing the symptoms, but even most healers do just remove symptoms - so the sickness does then come back after a while or shifts and erupts as a different symptom. I am quite sure, that many even famous healers are not aware of what really is going on. It might be a reason why "wonder healers" are often seen as scam, as the sickness/symptoms do return often after a while.
