Hello everyone! I have spent a great deal of time today reading through the Kundalini section, as my interest in the subject is what landed me here (through a Yoga forum actually). My Kundalini was activated a year ago and my symptoms are minor, relatively speaking, and I just feel a need to understand the path I'm now on. I've never had an OBE, but I've had some very interesting experiences in my sleep lately. I'm not sure if they're K related but I think so. This community has a very nice energy and vibe to it, and I don't think it was an accident that I stumbled on it:)

Namaste everyone.

Hi Ananda. I knew an Ananda some years ago in Florida.

CaterpillarWoman, I'll give a bit more detail. I started practicing Yoga in the mid-90's. My practice wasn't very steady until recent years. For the past 2 years I've really gotten disciplined on my spiritual path and finally feel in alignment with myself. Well, much more so than ever before in my life. As I said, K was awakened last year (I didn't do it on my own). At night, I've had strong sensations of energy pounding my low back (tailbone area actually), so strong they woke me up. I also experience automatic movements in meditation which I believe is just K doing it's thing and was advised to just take it slow, be mindful of my intentions, and just let it take it's course. Nothing unpleasant, which I attribute to having been guided through this by a teacher.

Regarding sleep, sometimes at night I also experience paralysis (scary every time), lots of intense automatic limb movements which began about 10 years ago (and btw have significantly decreased over the past year. Saw sleep specialists twice for it and no diagnosis of anything wrong). Recently, I felt as though I was sitting up out of my own body (somewhere in between a dream and sleep state). I'm also interested in finding out the ways in which I'm a healer (aside from teaching Yoga). Anyway, just including a bit more for the sake of intro. I'm looking forward to learning more from everyone and sharing however I can.
