View Full Version : Primary Center Question

I have just started to work with the Primary centers and noticed that when I try to bounce the chakra back and forth a few seem to wobble. Side to side is not a problem but back and forth takes soooo much effort and slow speed to keep remotely straight. Has anyone else experienced this problem

Which one?

The most difficult is the solar plexus chakra, my heart chakra is ok but does take a little extra concentration and my throat chakra is also wobbling.

The entire meditation with tactile was approximately 1.25hrs and was overall awesome! I felt much more balanced and areas slow to respond to tactile ended up being much more responsive.

I have the same problem (or circumstance?) with the head chakra. I'm not sure if it's a 'coordination' problem (side to side is easier for me than front to back anyway) or if it has anything to do with the center itself. I think that in my case, it's a coordination problem.
Sort of similar to the problem with meditation that I always have when I try to "see" what's behind me with my mind's eye. My head wants to turn and I have to fight the urge.
No solutions, just commiseration.

Thanks for the response CFT :)

I was thinking of a few strategies to combat this. I will test them and post back.

I have read that the primary centers are actually all along the spine and I have also read that they are like vortexes that go straight through you in the normal positions. Any other opinions :?:

What do you consider 'the normal positions' to be?

Good point CFT

Since I have limited experience I am going off the primary positions as described in NEW and a little of my own meditative feeling.

Base (perineum)
Navel (1 inch or so below the bellybutton center stomach)
Solar plexus (right below the end of the sternum center stomach)
Heart (center chest)
Throat (base of vocal area/center)
Brow (between the eyebrows directly behind the skull)
Crown (top of head/center and I think above or resting on top of head)

So if you moved these in a somewhat straight line back to the spine; this is the location I was referring to. There seems to be so much debate over this, I honestly havent really figured out what color my crown is....white....clear....violet!

:D
Some people see two chakras in each spot- one facing front, and one facing the back, and the base facing down.
I don't know what the truth is, I just feel them as I work them.

I think people should learn as much as they can and then use the K.I.S.S. model. For those that dont know K.I.S.S.=keep it simple stupid!
