Hey all.

It's been a while (nigh ten years) since I've actively practiced energy work or attempted OBEs, but I've still experienced strange things in the interim. The strangest and most frequent thing being an intense, jarring sensation of falling, usually just after sleep. This is so sudden and startling that I usually wake with a gasp, bolting up-right, waking my girlfriend more often than not.

What does this usually indicate? Some weak unremembered projection?

Hi Sixskins. It's known as a hypnic or myoclonic jerk, and perfectly normal. The AD Pedia (http://www.astraldynamics.com.au/showthread.php?1719-AD-pedia-In-Alphabetical-Order&p=103736#post103736)should have more info. (Scroll to 'M' for Myoclonic).

I suggest doing some trance work with the intention of receiving memory downloads of any forgotten projection. If no memories come, it's likely that you are simply having myoclonic jerks like CF mentioned.

My pet theory is that this is some kind of etheric body activity, but I have no real experience or data to back this up... :?
