View Full Version : Typical newbie Q's on Astral Projection

Hi all,

I've just started on the path of mastering astral projection.

I have a few questions though...

1. Is it possible that during an OBE the physical body wakes up and if yes, what then?
2. Is it possible to visit anyone during an OBE even if that person doesn't want you to see him/her?
3. If it is possible to have multiple copies of yourself out there, do all copies have consciousness?
4. If it is possible to visit the past and future, are there any reports, possibly confirmed by others, of actual history or future or planetary travel? In other words, can we rewrite history for what is really is?

thanks for your time

Marc

Hi all,

I've just started on the path of mastering astral projection.

I have a few questions though...

1. Is it possible that during an OBE the physical body wakes up and if yes, what then? Then you wake up. When you're starting out, it's usually impossible (or very difficult) to stay projected and your conscious awareness will snap back to the body. It usually feels like 'falling' into the body or just a simple jolt, not unlike a hypnic jerk. Sometimes it's smoother, and it's just like waking up from a regular dream.
It takes some experience to maintain the projection when your body wakes up, and eventually you may experience the mind split or bilocation, but this usually happens with a lot of experience.

2. Is it possible to visit anyone during an OBE even if that person doesn't want you to see him/her? Yes and no. You can try, but if this person has put subconscious blocks against this, you will not have a good time of it. More than likely, you'll be attacked.

3. If it is possible to have multiple copies of yourself out there, do all copies have consciousness? A qualified yes. If the Many Worlds Interpretation of QPhysics is true, then we have simultaneous incarnations in various versions of the universe, and if time is not linear, we have simultaneous incarnations of ourselves throughout history, happening at the same time, but not in the same space. I think both are true in a way.

4. If it is possible to visit the past and future, It seems so, there are various people that have experienced versions of this in this forum and in written journals.

are there any reports, possibly confirmed by others, of actual history or future or planetary travel? There are reports, but credibility varies, depending on who wrote them and who reads them. It's a mixed bag, and confusing because of reality fluctuations, the shapeability of the etheric and astral environments, and the bias of the experiencer. Add to that the bias of the reader, and it's difficult to discern what can be objective, if anything.

In other words, can we rewrite history for what is really is? If we rewrite history it's not what it is, it's what you perceive it to be. So, IMO, no.

thanks for your time
