I get it, but to lean on quantum effects seems to dodge the question. So maybe the paradox isn't valid as long as we have infinite cubby-holes to sweep such conundrums under the rug. Yeah, a metaphor of a metaphor - ya' gotta' love it.

"find my way in life"....."way^ in* life"....

Jesus said, "seek ye first the kingdom within*". Jesus said, "I am the way^, the truth* and the life`". Jesus said, "Love the Lord thy God with all of your heart^, all of your soul* and all of your mind`".

the way ~ the heart ~ 4th
in, within ~ the truth ~ your soul ~ priceless ~ a minor fall, a major lift
the life ~ your mind, state of mind ~ 5th

Hallelujah: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8AWFf7EAc4

wow indeed..."it's not somebody seen the light, it's a cold and broken hallelujah". amen amen amen

"It's not just by seeing the light that one might know, it's by having gone through the heat of the day that one comes to understand". M.G.

Richard, yeah, "as long as". nice metaphor.

I think the problem is that the "paradox" is not really a paradox at all. It just looks like one from certain perspectives, including the "time is linear" one. What I took away from the video is the rather smug satisfaction that science is starting to catch up with what mystics of various sorts have known experientially for a long time. ;)

BW,

yep, i figured ya saw that.

"what mystics of various sorts have known for a long time." BW

a sample from a much loved resource...[resources of which there are several of various sorts]

"Ah, my Beloved, fill the Cup that clears
To-day of past Regrets and future Fears--
To-morrow?__Why, To-morrow I may be
Myself with Yesterday's Sev'n Thousand
Years."

Khayyam, The Rubaiyat

a person feeling left out, dis-connected, feels like no one gives them the time of day. when if this person would give to themself the time of day they'd feel what every one feels, and realize that we all yearn for this time of day through one another, and cannot get it until we receive it from ourself first, and upon feeling it first ourself, it cannot be given to any other.
