G'day Robert!

I often find when I am meditating I get an intense surge of adrenaline that starts from my stomach and works my way up to my throat when I get in a good trance. This feeling is hard to get used to even though I have astral projected many times. The last time this happened I felt my body start to "lift up" so I just assumed I had already made separation and tried some affirmations to boost my awareness and maybe gain astral sight. I still felt my physical body though.

I also felt a tingling static feeling starting at my ankle quickly shoot up to my upper leg on my left side the last time I meditated. I felt that was definitely energy. I just never felt it that strong before.

Have you heard of this adrenaline surge feeling before? It kind of gets in the way sometimes because it really throws me off focus. Right now I am just practicing remaining still and calm when this feeling hits me. Practice practice practice.

Thanks Robert, I hope all is well with you.

Hi Planetshifter.
Robert talks about this in this page:

scroll down to "Torso Energy Surge." But I recommend you read the entire page, as it addresses the other symptom you mentioned.

Thank you so much CFTraveler. This is exactly what I needed.

I get this sensation every single time I try to astral project so maybe a change in position will help. I was laying flat on my back. I will try an incline a little bit next time.

I suppose it's a good sign too especially since I get this feeling all the time. It feels like I am close to projecting whenever I attempt.
