I am on day 2 but i am nervous as i don't know what energy stimulation feels like. and i can't really get any sensations. It is infuriating. also during the breathing exercises i feel sick for some reason. Does it really feel like a sponge going through me? as all i have gotten is a cold wind like feeling.
I am just worried i cannot do it, i want to see these other realms and universes and meet other powerful beings.
also when i am staying still how long do i have to stay still to get sleep paralysis, and can i swallow saliva and such while staying still? last thing, i heard someone talk about ringing when it is quiet and i hear that all the time when i go to sleep is that the thing described?
Just in case i take these 4 pills,
Epilim
Clomipramine
Melatonin
Abilify

Could they interefere with OBE and such

I am on day 2 but i am nervous as i don't know what energy stimulation feels like. and i can't really get any sensations. We have a post here dedicated to this theme. I will go get you a link so you can read it. It will give you an idea, but everyone is different.

It is infuriating. Why? It's just an exercise. Relax and breathe with it, and you will feel better, with or without sensations.

also during the breathing exercises i feel sick for some reason. Does it really feel like a sponge going through me? as all i have gotten is a cold wind like feeling. Energy sensations vary, from a light tingling to just the awareness of that body part existing. The cool feeling is good- it means that you are feeling something. Don't have too many expectations, it's all about awareness.

I am just worried i cannot do it, i want to see these other realms and universes and meet other powerful beings. You are already doing it. It doesn't have to be 'perfect' because in this, perfect does not exist. Plus, you don't have to have strong feedback (or any feedback) to project: it helps with 'takeoff' and 'control', but it doesn't keep you grounded. Any energy work, even with no feedback whatsoever, is working on your energy body making it stronger. But you have to relax into it and especially not tie it into any kind of expectations. This is where you have to let go and trust.

also when i am staying still how long do i have to stay still to get sleep paralysis, and can i swallow saliva and such while staying still? It takes me around 45 minutes to get to a good enough trance state, paralysis is not necessary, in fact, what you get is your touch senses turning 'off', it is only the 'feeling' of your body not being there. And you can move all you want, as someone said, your body is not stupid enough to think you're asleep when you don't move for a few minutes. Simply when you are done with your breathing or energy raising and are doing your trance exercises (or visualizations, or whatever) don't think of your body; swallow if you need to, scratch if you need to, your body will naturally go to sleep and what you have to pay attention to is your mind, as if you were watching TV or listening to your music. A state of conscious observation, not judging.

last thing, i heard someone talk about ringing when it is quiet and i hear that all the time when i go to sleep is that the thing described? It starts out that way, but when you first start 'switching' awareness it may get louder, turn into wind-like sensations or into words. Any of these can happen.

Just in case i take these 4 pills,
Epilim
Clomipramine
Melatonin
Abilify No one here can give you advice for your medications, it is not legal for anyone to do so. You should talk to your doctor and ask them if they interfere with meditation. No need to specify what kind of meditation.

Here are two links that may help. The first one is long.

Thanks for answering my questions, also what does moving my awareness feel like? as i am not sure if i am doing correctly. as my vision is still there in my head and such. i wish people would describe it. A long time ago i would occasionally wake up with a start as it felt like i was falling/someone was about to punch but i woke up before connecting, is this related to OBE? and in day 2 and such it describes my feeling a sponging sensation when doing energy body stimulation will i really i feel that. Sorry if i seem like a scatterbrain

Hi ereus. My internet cut out after writing a long post so I'll have to make it a short reply.
Your vision can be in your head, the only thing that is felt is the awareness of the parts of your body your consciousness is going through.
The falling sensation is called a hypnic or myoclonic jerk, it's something that is supposed to be biological, but can be explained as the beginning of a projection which is interrupted by the startle reflex.
The sponging sensation causes more sensation that moving awareness, it's normal.

But the thing is a havn't felt it during the exercises only a wave of sensation like a 'cold wind' going through my body part. So i concentrate my awareness on the bodypart that M.B.A right?

Yes. And you're describing something normal.

So am i doing it right or is it an actual sponging sensation?

It's one possible sensation, there are no 'wrong' sensations, except perhaps pain.
