Hi Robert,

In another post, you wrote:

Tip; do not abort an OBE exit. If you do, this can cause a psychological reflex that can interfere with future obe exits, eg, you will subconsciously 'flinch' every time you get close to the exit and this will end the exit. Make up your mind to go through with the exit come what may.

What's the best approach if you've already aborted OBEs? When I was young, I resisted spontaneous OBEs because I thought something was trying to forcibly yank me from my body. I know better now, but I think the flinch reflex is in place. Any tips on how to overcome it?

My book, Mastering Astral Projection, deals with this as part of the course, using affirmations and etc to overcome such problems. This is an excellent book if you like a systematic approach to OBE.

Affirmations, to work, must be used regularly to influence the higher self to overcome a flinch reflex.

EG: 'I happily leave my body and explore astral realms'
