Hi,
I want to know whether it's better to say the daily affirmations or have them repeat in an audio file? I have both week 1's morning and evening affirmations recorded with a robot voice and it's been working for me.

The reason I just play an audio file is because when saying affirmations out loud my throat / voice box gets tired / bored quickly.

I also wrote notes from a book called "exploring the world of lucid dreaming" and for most nights I've been able to recall 4-5 dreams each day.

I'll post more questions once I have difficulties or am confused.

It's ok to have them repeat in an audio file as long as you've done them by yourself enough times. If it works, then you've done them long enough- no problem.

I'm currently on day 6 today. I started using the bw files on my phone. It usually takes me 10+ minutes to be able to relax my whole body. With more practice will I be able to get within 5 minutes?

When I first started I was able to get it within 7 to 8 minutes. But now a lot of the time (or most of the time) it takes me 10 minutes and beyond.

Need help / advice.

Tomorrow I'll most likely be on day 7.

I never counted minutes, I just did it until it felt right.

I was doing the energy exercises for day 6 two days ago. I felt pain in my upper left calve. And I also felt pain in the area of my right lung (I don't know the name of that part of the body other than that).

Could this be because my energy body is undeveloped?

Could be, take it easy on those areas. Try running energy around the areas, but not on them, like the 'glass of water' analogy.

Hi,
I'm having trouble with my saliva. Every time I do the relaxation / breathing / energy bouncing exercises (today I'm on day 9). Sometimes my mouth will open and there will be a lot of saliva building up in my mouth.

Should I drink more water?

Most people solve saliva issues by swallowing more or changing their position- there is no hard or fast rule about this. Do what feels right, and don't sweat the small stuff.

Is it alright if I can do the course at an accelerated rate? (two days per day one in the morning / afternoon and the second at night / into the early morning hours)

The reason I'm asking this is because by the time I get to day 91 school will start and I usually have to watch over a child on most weekends. I usually get up in the afternoon. I'll be so busy when school starts I'll only be able to do the book at 2-3 days a week.

Has anyone else done it at an accelerated rate?

I'll look it up but you can answer.

Instead of trying to hurry it along, don't stay with what doesn't work, and just do what works once and then move along.
When I was going through it I found some things were harder than others because I thought I was supposed to do them perfectly (like the meditations where you have to 'not think' for x amount of seconds until you get the next piece of paper up). At some point I gave up and kept going, and kind of 'learned' my natural rhythm. Then later on in life I learned other things about mind 'emptying' that were equally helpful if not more. So I just did whatever in the one day, and even if I didn't 'perfect' it, I just kept going, and projected before the program expects you to.

The only reason I want to go at a fast rate is because there is a high chance that by the time I get to the part of exiting the body, I'll be in school doing school work.

That's the only reason I want to go at a faster rate, but if it worked for you (projecting before the program was / is / you completed it) then I might just try doing it at an accelerated rate on (Fri - Sun (or just sat/sun) instead of everyday. I haven't done it for a couple of days but I'm on day 14.

At what point did you project before finishing the program? Also are (or is there) there any other people who did this just like you?

Also I wanted to know, could you tell me / post how you knew that you had your first ap / obe? [before you finished the program]

The only reason I'm asking is that a night or two ago I had a dream and the memory of it got mixed up (like Robert talked about in his book AD) and I only remember pieces of the dream and not the whole thing.

I did it at thirty days, the program is for 90.
I knew it because I was fully conscious, there was no dreamlike quality to it. Just like getting up in your body, but without it. I didn't wake up to a projection, I projected from a completely awake state.

The reason I'm asking is because I keep trying it at 5 minutes and can mostly never get my body relaxed within that time?

Is this a good chair for doing / practicing work for the MAP program?

Is there a way I can do / say the morning affirmations at a different time? Also how many hours / how much after [saying the morning affirmations] should I say the evening affirmations?

The reason I'm asking is because most of the time I awaken between 2 to 3 pm in the afternoon and I've still not said the morning affirmations / done the work for that day.

"Morning" means what morning is for you. If you wake up at 2pm, that is the morning, and that is when you should do your morning affirmations.

I want to know what setting I should use in a binuaral beat program I have for android.

Should I use theta?

I'm on week 3 of MAP and I'm confused about what to do with the binural beat program.

Binaurals don't start until week four. You're doing breathwork, affirmations and reality checks. The preset that should be included has beeps that you listen to, trying to blank out your consciousness between them. If you don't have the preset you can use timers with your cellphone, or a meditation (there is one on youtube I'm thinking about that may do the same thing.) If you need a link let me know.

I just got onto week 4 a couple days ago. I don't understand when the authors say to do energy raising before / around bed time.

Could someone give me a better explanation? I might have to re-read the intro for week 4 again.

Also I haven't had any lucid dreams only some vivid / regular dreams.

And I haven't been able to do the course everyday because of preparation for school. Should I at least do the physical relaxation daily? Since in AD's Robert says that that is the most important skill and that the trance / energy work comes 2nd and third.

You can switch energy raising for the morning, it doesn't have to be before bedtime.
Energy raising can wake you up too much if you do it before bed, but you can experiment what works best for you.
And yes, I do recommend the physical relaxation daily, and energy raising too, it just makes you feel better, especially if you've got a busy day ahead of you.
