A few years ago I had a particularly powerful oobe. It wasn't intentional , and through fear I fought it, but to no avail. To my left I saw a lionine man( he was totally covered in fur like a lion) watching me from a sandstone corridor which looked to be lit by torch light. He looked very regal, he wore what looked to be swathes of leather, gathered by an ornate brooch. I'm pretty sure he was a king. He appeared to be quietly observing me, waiting.
Do you have any explanation for this?
Also when I returned to my body I experienced intense esp accompanied by a pulsing at the back of my head in the dip near my neck.
I was researching lion headed gods and discovered that there are quite a few. Ancient Persia has one called Zurvan. He has the body of a man and the face of a lion. Around him is the body of a snake. He is the god of time. He seems to connect with Osiris and Maahes or Miryis. All gods seem to come from Osiris/Ptah, the one overall.
I found it extremely interesting that Zurvan is connected with time. There is also a connection with Zarathrustra.
