Just an interesting movie I ran accross on the web, its interesting how the sound moves these particles...which seem to be salt. Makes one wonder what effects sounds have on the body...molecular/atomic vibrations ect...

I've noticed for quite a while now that each frequency causes a different feeling, or vibration, in the human body. Possibly that is why dark music can make people feel depressed? It is definitely fascinating but somewhat worrying at the same time.

There is actually quite a bit of 'sound magic' out there. Actually, sound is caused by energy, so sound magic is more like energy carried by sound.

The most popular forms of sound magic today is group chanting. Its also very good at sensing volume, particularly in enclosed spaces like rooms in buildings. It also can influence people's state of mind, hypnotists often use this when inducing a trance. Over all its quite useful on Earth (see below). As humans generally have excellent control over vocalization, effects can be controlled with great subtlety.

A warning before you spend great amounts of time on this. It can only be used where there is a medium to carry the sound (air, liquid, matter, or like). If you plan OBEs to extreme places, they may not have a medium in which sound will work. This also makes interdimensional work difficult.

The only other limitation of note is that its hard to direct to a limited spot without affecting nearby things (sound spreads readily). Think of trying to whisper so only one person can hear you. This makes isolation of effect difficult.
