After the energy work and primary center stimulation is done, the book says step one of trance practice is to take a moment to stretch, relax, and resettle. Is this recommended, as opposed to going straight into trance from the energy work, without stretching?

Does the re-stretching and relaxing help or hinder entering the trance? Has anyone tried both ways to see which works best? I have not yet.

Thanks for your comments.

The reason for the 'break' is because after all the time it took to do the previous work without moving, you're going to spend the rest of the time without moving. So if you work on your trance, and find yourself getting 'into it', and then all of a sudden have the need to move, it'll be a waste of your time. So the 'stretch time' is recommended before the trance work, so that you're ready to 'not move' after you start it.
So if you can get through the time needed to trance out without feeling the overwhelming need to move, more power to you.
But if some biological need arises, that is the time to do it.
