Are there specific runes for healing? I have found the medieval runes of magic and healing but there are only 7. I have searched for others but have had no luck yet.

There are many symbols for healing. You should try exploring healing paths and you'll most definately find more symbols. Runes, I'm not exactly sure about.....A book that has alot of Reiki healing symbols is "The Magick of Reiki" by Christopher Penczak.

My understanding of runes for healing is not the rules themselves, but for the way you bind them, according to the elements or characteristics they represent, and actually are a form of magic, something that if not done correctly can backfire on you. Sorry, nothing more specific.

Also, could you be more specific about healing and magick? What type of magick(ceremonial, shamanic, etc)? And are you talking about a system of healing(Reiki, deeksha, etc.), or using magick to heal? Binding runes is one way, but I think there are more(depending on traditions).

Well I have been using the runes to help focus the healing energy i send. It has helped alot but I am not practicing any specific religion doing this. I am going to get books about reiki from the library to read about. I have never before studied about that form of healing. I am actually still new to healing and have only done small things. I have never tried to heal diseases only injuries although some of the injuries have been rather extensive.

You don't need to be attuned to Runic Reiki to learn to use the symbols for your healing, just print out/draw/visualize the symbols in your healing on specific body parts or just run the healing with a specific symbols or symbols in mind.
