Hello,

I'm not sure if that technique has been described on this forum, please forgive me if so. As a matter of fact, I'm an author of that method. A few years ago I had an own website about OOBE, and my method was described there. The method has quckly become very popular among polish astral-travellers, because it just works.

I named the method "4+1".

Requirements :
alarm clock, and...that's all. You don't have to be experienced in meditation, relaxation, dreaming at all.

Performance :
1) Go to sleep as usual (let's say : 11 PM), and set your alarm to 3:15 AM - You should to sleep for 4 hours. Take into consideration a time you need to fall asleep.

2) Wake up 4 hours and get up (it's the most dificult part of technique ;) ). Do anything during 50-60 minutes. For example, read some book, or just wait.

3) Then, come back to bed and try to fall asleep again - after a few minutes you will experience OOBE. Don't try to do anything exept falling asleep! Visualisations are not necessary!

That's really all! Sounds unbelivable? That works almost always. Some people reach OOBE using different times, but first, try to use 4 hours of sleeping and 1 hour of awakening.

A lot of people have experienced their first OOBE using that "trick". I have about 40 OOBE using only that one. As a matter of fact, I revealed that time-dependence quite unintentionally. That was my first OOBE, I was shocked, because I had no idea what is going on...Fortunately, you are prepared for experience like that, so...enjoy :)

We call that technique "Inducing False Awakening".
Matt from Saltcube sells a timer for just that purpose in Saltcube.com: http://www.saltcube.com/

i think this works best to induce lucid dreaming...which then you can project right from there.

Thanks for the links.

i think this works best to induce lucid dreamingYes, you're right. As a matter of fact, this is just a technique to induce sleep-pralisis staying conscious, which is only condition to experience so-called astral travels.
