The press officer originally responsible for the coverup releases left an affidavit only to be opened after his death, in which he states that the UFO crash happened, and he saw the craft and dead inhabitants.

I cannot determine the truth of this story, it's presented "as is". :)

A bit more detail here (http://www.netscape.com/viewstory/2007/07/01/military-officers-deathbed-admission-raises-issue-that-aliens-did-visit/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailymail.co.uk%2Fpages%2Fli ve%2Farticles%2Fnews%2Fnews.html%3Fin_article_id%3 D465276%26in_page_id%3D1766%26ito%3D1490&frame=true) but still not sure if it's source material. Seems to be close to it though.

I remember seeing this on a news site. Commentors claimed it was viral marketing for the Halo 3 video game.

Check out the last picture on this site:

That's a really great text, whether it's true or not.

I have to repeat Arthur Clark's words here: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic".

The first thing that came to my mind while reading that text was morphogenetic fields and thought forms. The basic idea is that consciousness is not in our brains but somewhere "out there", and our brains are just buckets of pointers to this consciousness (sometimes called morphogenetic field). In a way, the field projects into our ordinary 3D world through our brains.

The idea was also examined in quantum physics, with possible entanglement of neural cells with some "particles" out there in higher dimensions, that actually form the consciousness. I think reiki also deals with such fields, maybe just under different name.

From that standpoint, this technology, if it exists that is, is not that special. It actually makes a piece of hardware conscious, but not necessarily self-conscious. Our own bodies are example of such "hardware".

The lack of "software" (or their inability to locate it) is also not surprising. Actually it's as unsurprising as scientists' inability to locate consciousness inside the brain. The "software" (the consciousness of the "machine") is in a higher dimension, formed out of the same field as our own consciousness. Ideograms just form pointers (or links) to it, allowing the "software" to propel the "hardware", thus performing what it was "programmed" to do.

The only trick question here would be what kind of "hardware" would have the ability of quantum entanglement with the "software". Again, our brains are one such example.

I suppose that would make all of us pieces of "energy software" being run on our "biological hardware", but I can deal with that thought. I got used to it a long time ago. :)
