Hi

I've recently bought Roberts latest book "Energy Work" and I'm trying to put a daily exercise plan together so I can work through the book.

Each chapter in the book contains lots of great information on the energy body. However the practice sections at the end of each chapter are rather vague. e.g. In the chapter "Running Energy" which talks about hand and foot work it says: Relax, pre-stimulate hands and feet and then do awareness belly breathing for a few minutes... This is in stark contrast to the online version of NEW http://www.astraldynamics.com/tutorials/?BoardID=6&BulletinID=238 which goes into great detail.

I was wondering what other people have done and maybe whether I should try and combine the online exercise plan with the newer techniques in the book?

Thanks

I have the same problem. I was expecting a proposed comprehensive daily or weekly exercise routine at the end of the book an/or of each chapter but couldn't find it. If anybody has put one together that would be a good starting point for all of us. There is a lot of great information in the book but a routine would help.

Each chaper closed with a routine IIRC, so what's missing?

Exercises usually are daily, not weekly. I cannot remember a method Robert has recommended that would be done weekly, but perhaps just my memory fails me.

Since you cannot do each and all energy work every day, at least IMO, it is perhaps just a matter of personal preferance, need, skill and time allotment. How could Robert provide a one-size-fits-all routine for that?

What ever happened to doing it yourself ;-). I think you should pick the techniques that work best for you and do them, in your own sort of routine. You don't even have to schedule it just do it on the fly  do what feels right, that's the great thing about the NEW system IMO.

Closer examination of chapter 3 "Running Energy" reveals more than I first thought. Having gone through it more thoroughly I've come up with a three stage plan that I intend to work though. I am posting it here in case anyone else finds it useful/helpful. If anyone has any criticism, comments or additional thoughts please feel free to reply.

Stage 1
Work at this daily until "accomplished thoroughly" (page 44) and then move onto stage 2. Come back and repeat this periodically, "say once a month" (page 40).

1. Physical relaxation (page 30)
2. Finger energy balls (page 40)
3. Palm work (page 41)
4. Arm wrapping (page 42)
5. Arm energy balls (page 42)
6. Toe work (page 43)
7. Sole work (page 43)
8. Heel and ankle work (page 44)
9. Two foot ankle circuit (page 44)
10. Awareness belly breathing (page 30)

If you don't have time to do this all in one go I guess you can split it up into 2 sessions, one for you hands and arms, and another for feet.

Optional extras (page 44)
+ Every toe and finger joint with brushing, stirring and wrapping actions: top, bottom and sides.

Stage 2
Again work at this daily until "accomplished thoroughly" (page 44) and then move onto stage 3.

1. Physical relaxation (page 30)
2. Pre-stimulate hands and feet (page 46)
3. Leg and knee work (page 45)
4. Leg energy raising (page 45)
5. Whole body bounce (page 46)
6. Awareness belly breathing (page 30); Relaxing and quieting mind (page 33)

Optional extras
+ Combine with work on the five main leg pathways from here (http://www.astraldynamics.com/tutorials/?BoardID=6&BulletinID=238) (scroll down).

As stage 2 is short (compared to stage 1) you may want to spend a bit longer than usual on pre-stimulating the hands and feet, repeating some of the exercises from stage 1 where you feel you might have blockages.

Stage 3
As you can see stage 3 is the "Practice" section from the end of the chapter.

1. Physical relaxation (page 30)
2. Pre-stimulate hands and feet (page 46)
3. Awareness belly breathing (page 31)
4. Bounce actions on legs and arms
5. Spinal bounce (page 71)
6. Full body bounce (page 46)
7. Full body circuit (page 47)
8. Breathing circuit (page 48)
9. Awareness belly breathing (page 30); Relaxing and quieting mind (page 33)

Optional extras
+ Standing energy storage practice (page 48)
+ Simple body awareness breathing (page 49)
