I'm not really into all this different types of reiki, though this looks a good site. She seems to be fully qualified and even gives you a qualifiaction at the end.
Though I can't be sure she's accredited by the International Healers Association. Is there any way to check that out? I can't use advanced search options in Google.

I tend to shy away from sites that offer attunements for 50 thousand different types of Reiki and other "empowerments", all with their own separate price tags. I get the impression that they prey on New Age "junkies" who can't stop looking for something new/different in hopes that it will work better than what they already know.

This isn't to say that what she teaches is invalid or that greed is necessarily her primary motivation. But, consider that she has a long list of "courses" (http://www.mayastar.net/courses.htm) that includes things like "DNA Healing Reiki" (no, Reiki will not change your DNA no matter how many different kinds of attunements you get), "Rainbow Sequence Healing Technique", "Solar Goddess Radiance Attunement", and "Blue Star Celestial Energy". Now add in the fact that the "courses" are really just a short manual (E-mailed in PDF format--not an actual book) combined with an attunement (and if she does her attunements the same way Stefan does his free Kundalini Reiki attunements (http://www.xehupatl.com/), then they take less than 10 seconds of effort on her part).

Now also add in the fact that each one of those "attunements" and written-in-under-10-minutes manuals costs around 35-40 GBP (that's $70-80 USD). I say stick with RB and other authors of informative and reasonably priced books, not to mention freely available info on the net.

Isn't it funny that Reiki is being mass marketed? I find it funny and disturbing. :)
