Just doing NEW in a lackadaisical kind of way, when I decided to play a bit. So, I visualised waves of energy. I began with slow waves but decided to shorten the wavelength and speed them up. The energy sensations became correspondingly more powerful and I was surprised that I suddenly saw a very ancient looking eye open. It was a fairly rapid image but very vivid.

Could you elaborate as to " very ancient looking eye "? It looked old (an old person's eye?) Or something else, like an ancient depiction of an eye?
*confused*

It sounds like a vision of your 3rd eye. I think doing energy work in some way activates or works your 3rd eye. It's related to concentration, which is what I need to develope while doing energy work. I find my concentration keeps sliping sometimes. There's also a way of opening the 3rd eye. It's basically a relaxed concentration on an object of focus. I used it for a bit and felt some improvement with my concentration.

You're not talking about the Eye of Horus are you? If so, left or right can mean different things.

Do you mean like what's discussed in this thread?

Just a large, vivid, old-looking eye that opened and looked at me. I guess it seemed wrinkled. I can't even be sure it was human but it had a round pupil.

There are 2 possibilities for the apparent age I think... One is you saw skin - it's hard to imagine a wrinkled eyeball that wouldn't have drawn immediate description from you - so if you saw wrinkled skin, maybe you can recall more detail about it - colour? weathered? wrinkled from old or maybe from good humour? - that sort of information might help you place it better.

The other is that you picked up the age impression some other way - ESP perhaps, or sub-awareness level astral awareness.

You might also have met the owner of the eye sometime in astral.

(not being much help am I? *grins*)

Depending on your state of mind it can also happen that you look at the world straight from your basic awareness, and you can perceive your own third eye to be in front of you - which also can look back in any direction.

Mishell described this to me and that gave me the idea of swiveling my own third eye.

Well, I never really ascribed a meaning and mention it more as one of those little curiosities that occur when you practise energy work and meditation. It was the eyelids that were wrinkled, J'man, not the eyeball. I'll read the link now, CF, because my earlier post was made quickly while I was at work.

Interesting thread, CF. 8)

That night I dreamt of 2 wolves (I don't think I've dreamt of wolves before). I was awed by their majesty. They ran towards a train, that seemed to have started them and they were incredibly swift. My sight telescoped as I followed their progress. Then they entered what I perceived as a rec room at some kind of camp were they proceded to wreak havoc. (I looked up "wolves" on the net but I probably should ask Pneumaphor for an analysis).
