I agree alot with your thoughts on memories and OBE's... I have used your 'keyword' method too, and keep a notebook by bed for that reason... Although I disagree with the assertion that if not properly 'downloaded' then they are lost forever... What makes you say that they are lost... You likened it unto RAM for a computer, and if it loses its power before 'download' then it is lost... I have had experiences that do not confirm that at all... In fact part of what I really get a kick out of (in OBE state) is the sensations of 'waking up' into the astral... kind of all comes back to you... memories of other OBE events and and even more...

How can I be in the OBE state, and REMEMBER what happened in another OBE, (that i did not seem to remember when i woke up that morning, But I remember NOW.) If the memory is lost altogether???
(is this making any sense?)
EB, I believe he says that the memory of the OBE exit is lost, and it's remembered as a dream, if I remember correctly.- CF.

G'day,

I don't remember ever saying that OBE memories are lost forever.....

But the ram analogy could give that impression, yes.

Most likely, OBE and dream memories that are not remembered stay in unconscious memory. There, they will sometimes be triggered by associations and, as you say, surface.

The human mind remembers every minute detail of life, and so its likely that obe's and dreams would also be stored somewhere.
