http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m66/ ... symble.jpg (http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m66/marrymanofthewoods/symble.jpg)

During a pretty deep meditation I remembered this symbol. I dont where its from but it first came to me as a feeling not the symbol at first. Ill try to explain the best I can, I remember feeling the feeling of the symbol for a very long time either during dreams or lucidity but all ways forgetting all about it when returning to my normal state. Keep in mind that I remember haveing these experiences now because I have some how kept this symbol with me. I think I have been able to do this threw my effort to remember every thing I experience in every state of my being. Back to the point, the feeling of this symbol before I knew what it looked like was kind of like a ball of energy that my mind could barely move but I knew that it was some how closly connected to me. Now when I was in my meditation this feeling came up and I was thinking Oh! I got you now! You sneaky thing! and when I grabed its knowledge with my new found power to remember what I do in altered states it turned into that shape! When I want it it's there always its always there so I have no need to visualize it because IT IS! When I send it around my body I seem to get a increase in power in that area and a healing effect also but it closes kundalini activity instantly so that makes me think its different from kundalini.

Im sorry for the confusingness of all this but it feels so natural to me. If any one has any input I would be most grateful.
Ill post any changes if any arise.

The only thing that it reminds me of is Inca writing, using lines and knots to indicate numbers or words.
See if this rings a bell: http://ancientx.com/nm/anmviewer.asp?a=104&z=1

OK, I know this is a long-shot, and a bit far-fetched but here goes and bear with me:

Holy moley, yes I remember that symbol!!!

I have very vivid memories of when I was a baby and a very young toddler.

I remember lying in my cot and this symbol bouncing around my vision in a diaganel Manner, instantaneously from corner to corner. As I grew older (about 3 years old probably), it stopped and I no longer saw it. I remember thinking back to it occasionally over the years thinking that it looked like a white bone. Every time it flicked from corner to corner, I distinctly remember a buzz occuring on my head, like a sort of stimulation.
As I grew older, I came to the conclusion that it must have been a sort of brain-stimulus that babies get to stimulate the brain, and the image itself is a sort of fabrication of that.

Looking at your post then literally made my stomach cave in, because in a way, ive had that image in my head all my life whenever I look back to my early childhood.
ALso, there is another symbol/thing I recall at the same age as when I saw the 'bone'. You'll have to bear with my awful drawing but here it is as best as I can remember:-

Probably too bad a drawing to ring any bells, but you never know.
I am going to look straight at the link you've posted just incase.

What do you think it all means? Honestly, you posting that bone has freaked me out (of course I am aware it could be one huge coincedence... I like to keep skeptical on these things!!!)

I'd have to wonder if as a baby you had a mobile with shapes hanging that had a symbol like that.
I only mention it because I have memories of 'floating fish' that I've always had since I was a baby. It used to make me happy. Even today thinking of it reminds me of joy. I mentioned it to my mother, who informed me I used to have a fish mobile in my crib. So mystery solved there- for me.

This is not impossible, howver I remember the physical sensations of seeing the bone flick from angle to angle on my vision, plus being able to visualise it at will while sitting in a trolley seat with my mum in the supermarket!

Of course, whether its related to the thread starters symbol itself is highly unlikely, but it did hit a nerve and take me by surprise.

I still to this day think it has something to do with a young mind developing stimulus of some sort.

I have odd memories of being a child! :)

Well the image that you posted means nothing to me im sorry to say but im begining to think that the one I posted and you where familar with is some kind of symbol of power. I think this problem is worthy of Mr.Bruce and I think im going to put it in the ask section.

The link CF posted was a very interesting idea but I dont feel a connection. Keep in mind the image is 2D but I see 3D

Keep those minds athinking this is bugging me!

Definitely post it in the Ask Robert section. He may have some insight about it. I looked up hieroglyphs but found nothing that was close enough.

I think I'll make an img tagged version so I can look at it more properly ...

Okay. It looks like a tongue piercing, a dog toy, or a baby rattle.

That looks like the symbol for "opposition" in astrology.
