This video (http://www.ted.com/talks/view/id/229) is a presentation by a neuroanatomist, talking about her experience of a stroke temporarily disabling part of her brain, and what that caused her to realize about consciousness and life. I don't have much to say about it... but I thought some people here might find it very interesting. Go watch it, it doesn't take long (under 20 minutes)!

I think I either read about it and saw it some time ago. It was fascinating, and a must read for anyone who has family with circulation and heart problems, or themselves. Knowing how a stroke feels can save your life.

I just saw her on Oprah's Soul Series webcast. Such a good interview. It is amazing.

With the link you can see other interviews and upcoming interviews. Yesterday I watched the interview with Eckhart Tolle. They talked about his books The Power of Now and A New Earth. It was very enlightening. :D
