This question may seem absurd, but in working with energy and meditation I have often read about the "core of your being" and similar things. I never took this literal, but then again... I mean, there is the Central Channel right through my body center, integrating all Tantiens, and this is also referenced as a center of energy that exudes outward. Furthermore, the Tantiens tap into the "individual Mindstream" what ever that is, and so on.
So, one day I actually wondered: Is "the core of your being" really only a metaphor or is it actually also an accurate description of where it resides, of potentially useful energetic practices, and so on?
How would that fit together with the fact that the energy bodies as they get subtler actually are actually "bigger" - does this still mean they would connect to a "core" that actually has a location?
I just had the feeling I am missing something vital. :? Anyone got info on this?
