(This is from the German movie "Comedian Harmonists" (which I love) about the humorous singer troupe of the same name. They were a big thing of the 30s in Germany. This scene plays after they got thrown out of an initial audition, and try to replay their musical gag better in a bar. Of course this is actors, but AFAIK they always used restored original recordings of the singing material. They actually made all these effects with their voices.)

PS - the piece is called "Creole Love Call":

I love the music of that time period.
