i used to live not far from there.
we would take a drive around that area at night, looking for ufos, but never saw anything. then one night when a bunch of us were coming home from a club, like 5 in the morning, we saw a large light in the sky which seemed to be moving parallel to our car. it stayed with us for about 15 mins, then just disappeared.

lots of strange energies around that area... there is a hollow hill, a mound, in the hills up there, called Cairnpapple. - http://www.cyberscotia.com/cairnpapple/

there were rumours of devil worship going on up there, so we would drive up and around the mound, and dare each other to get out the car and approach the hooded forms in the darkness. they could be seen surrounding the mound, and if you got too close, they'd come towards you. needless to say we never stuck around long enough to find out what they'd do if they caught us. one time we had to drive off the road, when 5 of them were walking along the road and wouldn't move for us!
i heard stories of gangs of guys going up to fight them, with nasty consequences.
but the mound itself, we'd go up in the daytime, and you could see the opening near the top of the hill. it was closed and locked, and i never knew if you could arrange to see inside. but when you walk around the mound, there was a definite "different" energy there. quite eery.
one time we went for a drive up there, and we found snow covering the mound, but none of the other hills.
the snow quite literally stopped at the fork in the road that led up to the mound, right beside the signpost pointing to it. very strange!
