I am very confused. I just noted, that Robert's 7 Primary Centers are not exactly equal to the "traditional" Eastern Chakras? I always thought so before. But now, at closer look there are differences.

Here's the diagram from Energy Work:

(click 7 times to get to the page with the body chart)

I have most problems with the 2. and 3. Chakra. It clearly seems to be situated one a few centimetres below and the other a few above the navel.

Robert, on the other hand, puts the 2nd Center much higher directly onto the Navel, not sub-navel. Furthermore his energy storage sub-navel centre seems to be where traditional Eastern school puts the 2nd Chakra.

Moreover, the 4th (Heart) Chakra is lower than Robert's 4th Primary Center. It seems to be between the nipples, that is where (again) Robert seems to put another storage centre.

Is my observation right? What shall I do now, because I still like to do my Chakra meditation (with binaural or isochronic soundscapes) next to Robert's energy work, but I dont know what area to "focus" on anymore. :?
(I would have liked to put this in the Ask RB section, but I have asked quite a few questions lately, so I thought I ask here first).

If I remember correctly, Robert gives some leeway as to the location of the chakras (not sure if one or two inches) so if you consider he's trying to illustrate centers other than chakras (exchange ports and storage centers) the positions can be juggled a bit. I suggest that you do some exploratory energy work- that is, see where you feel the most feedback- chances are that's where they are- because, like everything else, energy center position varies with each person.

For me, nothing has been more helpful in understanding the chakras than doing simple aura-feeling exercises -- actually feeling for the centers.
