My OBE Experiences

OBE's and Lucid Dreaming

Hi, I was wanting to get on here and post another blog the other day but my laptop got stolen and I just got it back. What a mess -_- So I am going to post about my second and third experience I've had with OBE's.

The next OBE experience I actually left my body. I had read this:

http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ci...projection.htm

Which is a whole guide to Astral Projection. I was napping on the couch in my bedroom again like the one before and reached sleep paralysis like usual but this time I was focused. I then reached the vibrational stage and begun visualizing myself sitting up; I felt my astral body moving. I remember standing next to the couch facing my bed and the crumpled sheets like I had left them. I then thought of how I wanted to face the window, and I did a 360 degree turn. I was then facing the window, curtains up (they were down), staring outside at my lawn. I recall it being very vibrant. I decided to visualize being in the yard but I was only there for a moment when I think I ended up falling asleep because all of the sudden I was in a weird place. I just remember standing around a tree with a bunch of people and there were weird objects stuck into the tree. Then I took an axe and kept trying to chop down other trees. I honestly believe that part to be that I just fell into a deep sleep and experienced an extremely lucid dream. It's better to do short projections if you're a novice anyways.

My third experience got better though. This time I was asleep in my bed and I reached paralysis like usual, but this time I tried to get up. Now I know in the guide above says it's better to visualize floating downwards, as you are straining yourself trying to just get up, but I find for me that I have to literally roll over or push/pull myself up to get out of my body because if I don't try to move I will just fall back asleep. I pushed myself up I and got on my hands and knees. I began thinking about crawling towards the edge of my bed, and the harder I thought the faster I moved because I ended up falling off my bed Lol. I recall feeling vertigo (I always call upon my spirit guides before I exit). I remember taking a deep breath and feeling it in my physical body (split mind effect). I was then standing next to my bed, and the next part is a little confusing for me still but my cousin was in my bedroom. I'm not sure how the whole "seeing living people" in projection works. I don't know if I summoned him or what, but we casually talked for a minute, I gave him a hug and then decided I wanted to jump out of my bedroom window; and I did. I remember very vividly still being right in between the window pane for a second before ending up in a open area. There was a huge white building (looked like the White House) that was pretty far off. I decided I wanted to try to fly rather than go to the building and so I looked up at the sky and started floating upwards. In real life I am terrified of heights and I realized this as I was floating upwards. I then proceeded to float back down out of fear and after that I had a hard time controlling my astral body and eventually just woke up.

A few weird things happened after that too. I remember sitting next to where I was sleeping but my body wasn't appearing in the bed. It didn't last long so that may be why my body wasn't showing up, because when you are in projection you can literally see things dissolve and reappear, reanimate, all the works. I have seen myself sleeping while floating above my body for example, but it took a few seconds for my body to show up. It's takes a second for things to appear sometimes.

But anyways, I did try projecting again that same day. I think I rolled out of my bed (can't remember exactly) and ended up next to my bed again like before (fall down, face the side of my bed for a second, end up standing next to bed). I decided to go and open my bedroom door, and usually this is suppose to take you into the astral planes where you can travel anywhere. But when I opened the door I visualized the next room and I wound up there. Once again, it took a second for the room to fully appear because when I first opened the door there was nothing, blackness for a split second before the room fully appeared. I live with my one of my other cousin's and a friend. They were standing there having casual conversation when I swung the door open. It took them a second to realize that my bedroom door was open, but I was not standing there physically. They then ran up to the door very confused and looked at me laying in the bed. I turned around at this time and also saw my body in the bed. I actually thought I was projected in the next room with them there until I woke up and realized no one had been home (I thought I heard the front door open at some point between sleep and trying to project) It was most likely a very lucid dream. I actually laughed about it in the "dream" and ended up having a short conversation with my friend who said, "That's not funny!"

It would be really funny to be able to prank people in that way though haha. I unfortunately only have one more OBE to talk about after this post, but it is the most interesting one by far. I will post it on here when I get a chance!
