But who is the teacher, you ask? and when will he come? what lessons does he have to offer, and who were my teachers in the past?
The teacher could be a parent, a friend, a lover, or even a cat (Eckhart Tolle says they are the best zen teachers!). For me, a lot of times, teachers come in the form of books. But spiritual progress is not the only lesson we have to learn in life. There are many more lessons to come and there are many there when we look behind. Life lessons come with life teachers.
It could be a complete stranger on the street, preventing you from making a huge mistake just in the moment you need advice. It could be a friendly person lending a listening ear. It could be an unrequited love, teaching you to let go. It could be a singer, singing a song to change your life.
It could be your parents. In the start, your parents may teach you how to speak but in the end- it may be you teach them a lot of lessons as well. These lessons are different for everyone and I'm sure that if you will look back, you will find what yours are.
I believe the teacher, your teacher- will arrive when your vibration is ready to go- when your feelings are in the right place. Look back on your life. Think about who taught you the most important lessons. You may be amazed with the results.
But if you'll look closely enough- you will find a teacher in everything.
Life is a magical adventure- but it is also a classrom. The most important teacher you will ever find- is the teacher within.
