What if - your life story

Typical things that people care in their life about are not that many in number. This is where they put their life energy and effort into.

Some people focus on what they have: posessions, house, garden, car...

Some people put effort into having their family with their life partner...

Some people devote their lives to science...

A lot of people devote their lives to their job (regardless whether they want to)...

Now imagine that you're one of those, and you loose in any way what you cared for for your entire life so far. Like people loosing their all money or houses on the exchange stock, or a family being broken or having a fatal accident, or loosing your "life" job... What remains then?

Arguably, having a very wide and creative picture of yourself instead of insiting on certain "must haves" would be much more enjoying pathway in life.

When you think of your person as a character on a stage, you are given a creative, limitless power to take any role you want any time you want.

If you started your life once again, having this attitude and consciousness from the beginning, how would you change your life?

Frankly, I think I'd be happier if I were one of those people. I believe people that have one single desire or purpose (or a limited list) are happier than those of us who can do lots of different things, have become interested in different things throughout our life, have that nagging 'you're supposed to do something' mindset, but cannot make up their mind. I am now 62 years old and still don't know what I'm supposed to do when I'm 'grown up'. I've done a lot of things in my life, some more fulfilling than others, but I still feel that there's something I forgot. And the bitch is that I feel I wasn't supposed to forget. I try to live by the rule of "go with the flow" and that is why I'm in places like these- spiritually inclined- but most of the time I feel like I'm wasting time, because people believe what they believe and I feel like I'm preaching to the converted. So anyway, forgive my rant.
