Two kinds of knowing

What we know conceptually is not the same as having understood something directly and energetically. The difference becomes apparent when trying to interpret dreams and experiences.

Often dreams seem to be heavily coded, sometimes to an extent that we dismiss them. Yet they are direct experiences of the energetic reality translated by our inner senses and our inner translation dictionary into something resembling a plot and other elements of the dream. We are often disappointed by the indirection which seems to make the actual information so inaccessible, but the information itself was clear, but there was no clear knowing present to render it more clearly.

In last night's experience I was on a boat in a bay, and I was told to watch for something - I didn't quite comprehend what. Then I saw two bombs drop from the sky in quick succession. They fell and hit the water and sank. Later I saw some minor upheaval in the water when they blew up.

The experience itself seems heavily coded. I had to resort to what I conceptually know to decode it:

Water is a good symbol for a plane because a body of water is essentially flat and planar, but can also denote the ability to submerge/immerse oneself in a plane.

Things seen in the sky can denote things and entities from higher planes.

From Charles I know that events drop through the planes before they arrive in physical reality. The bombs dropped from the sky (higher plane) into the sea (the plane I was observing from).

A bomb denotes a "harmful event" then. The explosion of a bomb happens at one point in time, has an effect, is in itself an energy transformation.

I was told to observe this process. This means I was given opportunity to directly experience something I only or mostly knew conceptually before.

Were I a more skilled translator as of yet, the whole process might have taken a shape more easily understood or even have been explained while it was happening. The best my mind and consciousness could do for the moment, however, was take the energetic transformation taking place and transform it into pictures and a plot (and other elements which rather added to the confusion). The plot helps to pin down the stages of the energy transformation by making it appear as something happening in temporal succession or as a chain of events.

Knowing something conceptually gave me access to the thread I needed to pull to resolve this riddle. I had to connect the concepts with the pictures and plot I had recalled, and had to enhance the translation. In absence of a more direct understanding of what was going on this still gave me access to more of the information contained in the experience.

And this is the difference between the two kinds of knowing. Once you have achieved better translation skills, the information accessed becomes richer, deeper and more meaningful. The process of decoding becomes easier. And the experiences themselves will yield more right away, I'd think.
