Ha! I see you're testing accented letters, and I thought I'd share with you that when the board first transferred your account, the accented e was all kinds of messed up (I don't know if you would even have been able to log in, actually). I noticed it purely by chance and went in and fixed it, but I was a little worried the board wouldn't accept accented letters. Turns out it did, it was just a formatting thing between the two different board systems. So you're poème and not poeme, which is good.

Yes, everything works fine! I also tested (previewed only) all the other punctuation marks on my keyboard and they all work...

Some of these marks appear kind of weird too on my journal at the moment but since I wrote these entries offline in a Word document, I still have them all and it will be very easy for me to copy and paste everything in order to remove all the strange characters...Especially since on this new board, what I copy and paste keeps all the formatting I used in the Word document (italics, fonts, etc) so it's all good! :)

...Meanwhile, I actually discovered where the English quotations marks were hiding on my keyboard so I won't have to use the «» I seemed to like a lot :mrgreen:

As for the è in my nickname,
I couldn't log in at all, no. I even tried copy-pasting my name with the odd character in the login box, but that didn't do the trick either... The next morning, I went online with the intention of posting on the older board about this when I saw that someone had noticed and fixed it... How was I glad!:-D
